We stopped here as we wanted to get a bit away from the busyness of downtown Queensland. It's a cool little place where you can sit outside and look out at the lake. We just had eggs and toast and coffee- all of which were fine. The staff was friendly.

Well appointed, lots of car parking and great coffee served amidst a great atmosphere. The cafe is very well presented and has attentive caring team members with personality and caring natures.

We stopped in on our way back on the Queenstown trail. Lovely cinnamon & date scones! Coffee was ok too. Easy access by bike or car.

The food was very tasty but it took almost an hour to get fed on a Sunday morning where the cafe was half full. Two coffees arrived as we were approaching the counter to pay, they'd been ordered when we arrived 50 mins earlier. In there defence, we were a large group of 14 so it may have been too... More

We stopped in here just after 3pm and unfortunately the kitchen was closed but we were able to pick something out of the fridge to eat so we chose the focaccia with ham, cheese, tomato and chutney. There were seats out the back that look onto the river which was nice, the food wasn't too bad and we were happy... More

Stopped for a coffee after going paddle boarding on the lake. Nice place to sit in the sun on the bean bags and enjoy a coffee

We visited on a busy Sunday late morning. Staff were cheerful and very friendly. They advise when arrived that there would be a 30 minute wait on food. Dishes were well prepared. Well worth the wait!

We mostly had breakfast and coffee at this cafe. The meals were delicious and the servings are large. We can recommend the avocado and feta bruschetta.

I have visited the Boat Shed a number of times, it was a great local cafe. Over the last few visits I've found the service detracts from the visit so much that I just can't bring myself to visit again. The staff are friendly, and polite- but disorganized and inattentive. First of all I'm totally ignored, then when I try... More
