We went here on our last night in Queenstown and found out that tables are shared. This turned out to be one of our most fun meals ever! The food was good, but the locals we met were talkative and enthused about their country which they gladly shared.

On tour in New Zealand, our Guide suggested Cow Restaurant for PIZZA. We were surprised as we thought it would be a place for beef. A group of us went and had a fun time. Dark & pub-like, we ordered 3 medium/large pizzas for 6 of us. We misunderstood the sizes. There was enough pizza for at least 2 more... More

The place is quite hidden from the main streets of Queenstown. Good food, great service and nice ambiance.

Had dinner here and were slightly surprised to be asked to share a table - but it was great! We were sat with a really nice couple and the food was really good quality Italian fare. Really nice dining experience, reasonable prices and well worth it !

So often does TA come to the rescue and this was one of those times. The Cow does pizzas and spaghetti dishes and both our choices were pretty good. If, like us, you are looking for simplicity try here. We didn't have the garlic bread but it looked very different and had we been around longer it would have been... More

Great food and friendly staffs. The mushroom pasta is what I'm craving until now. Waited for 20 minutes to get a table but it was worth the wait.

All three of the pizza, pasta and garlic bread were very good. The bread in particular was a huge dense delicious loaf. The service was friendly. The only negative was the poor internal lighting but that is understandable due to the decor being that of an old barn. Very interesting regardless.

I'm so glad I had a pizza craving one evening and sought out this place! I ordered the delicious veggie pizza and even had enough to take home for later. Zucchini, onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers ~ yummy!

Thank Holly W
