Just had dinner here with my husband. Great selections of saki, food and wine. Service was great, food excellent. If you like Japanese food, you can't go wrong here!

Food was average. I had high hopes based on the reviews and the menu looked great, but the rice was soggy on the sushi, the sashimi was so so. The shabu shabu was good but nothing to be amazed about. Also a bit pricey for the quality of the food. Good service though.

Went to this restaurant when it first opened, and always recommend it to visitors after finding subsequent visits always of a high standard, and a great selection on the menu even catering for fussy eaters. We visited last for my birthday, and without having asked for special treatment, the whole staff dimmed the lights and brought some surprise free cake... More

Called in here the place we were planning on going was packed. But I am so glad we did. We got a mixed platter of sushi and sashimi and it was so fresh and tasty it came out on a boat it was so beautifully presented and everything was so delicate and fresh. We also got a portion of tempura... More

Been here 3 times over the years. Great staff, willing to do anything to ensure your experience is nice. Good range of such/dinner menus at reasonable prices. Japanese beers on tap.

Everything we had was great. The place was full, every table taken. Lots of choice on the menu. Sake choices for those that want the complete Japanese dining experience

We had lunch and beautifully served hot sake. It was in a teapot full with hot water which kept the sake at a good temperature. Helpful & polite staff and it was quite busy. We had sashimi and beef which was really tender. The tempura was crisp, hot and cooked perfectly.

Nothing stood out about this restaurant. Decor was basic, food was good quality like many Japanese restaurants in NZ/Aus but not special. Prices were high, so not good value for the hungry skier but fine for a light lunch.

Great Japanese place in Queenstown. Had the combo lunch - so good. They also have an area to sit on the floor Japanese style and serve a variety of sake.

We visit here each trip to Queenstown and are never disappointed. Great food, especially the Teppan and Nabe, lovely friendly staff and reasonably priced. The low /sunken tables fit quite a few people around so ideal for bigger groups. Child friendly too. Happy to recommend.
