Having spent one week holidaying in NZ, my husband and I were craving for asian food and this was one of the restaurants listed on TripAdvisor. We were very skeptical but after a disappointing visit to a restaurant positively reviewed, we decided to try it anyway. Food seems to be on a pricier side on a per dish basis. Chinese... More

Not many great options in Te Anu. We got Chinese take away and went back to our Holiday Park to prepare for our trek.

We went there for lunch on Christmas. There was ample parking space. The restaurant was quite quiet. There were only two waitresses. They spoke minimal English. They were from China. Tofu was not on the menu. But the waitress said they could prepare it. I asked her what type of tofu they had. The waitress simply could not describe it... More

Ordered a duck, venison, ginger beef, one of the fish dishes and a vege/mushroom dish as well. Food was a little pricey but worth it in the end. Went in on a Sun for lunch and wasn't impressed with the general service. Waiting for the bill at the end of the meal when we realised the staff were having lunch... More

We had a wonton soup and half a duck. The restaurant was pretty busy but service was fast. Wonton soup was spicy and the ravioli in the soup so so, but the duck was well grilled, crunchy outside and the meat was tender. That dish was delicious!

Will never dine there again due to low service and poor food quality. The amount of the food you get is definitely not worth the money you paid. The taste is "okish"! The young girl who serviced us was with loss hair and has been at the corner and picking her nails. Generally, this place has given me a feeling... More

I felt like some take seats last night after cooking at home for days and ventured into this place. I had a Won Ton soup which was flavourful and a chicken noodle dish. It was also of good flavour. I did not have to wait long and service was good. There is a smaller selection if you pick a takeaway... More

A terrible experience. Ordered lamb and chicken dishes. The food was terrible, tasteless and above all, the service was lousy. Way over priced for the quality. Waited to get serviced. Staff unfriendly. Go elsewhere.

We were impressed with the food and the prices. Most of the nicer restaurants are fairly expensive, but not here. We split a meal and got plenty to eat. In fact, we came back the next night to try something else. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. The food arrived very quickly and was quite good.

Set menu is a good deal here, with chicken and sweetcorn soup, wontons, sweet and sour chicken (the best on the menu) and special rice. Food isn't anything to shout about but if you're feeling the need for non western food this will certainly fill that hole!

Thank Rosie R
