Stayed here for one night. Had a nice lunch in the bar as it was very busy in the restaurant area and we hadn't pre-booked. Our room was the Hayloft which was great - very spacious with a separate small dressing room and bathroom with...More

Unplanned stop, but decided to stay for Sunday lunch. Was busy which for me is a very good sign of what was to come. Welcome, service and food all first class would definitely recommend and return when we are in that area next. thank you

Stopped off here following a trip on the great central railway. Had a fantastic service from Isabel, who was friendly, professional and polite. Really enjoyed ourselves. Food was delicious and well worth a trip back for the service from Isabel and the food. Thank you

We had the Sunday Roasts which were served with ample vegetable sides. Very tasty and served with a smile. The only downside was the dog one of the patrons had brought in the bar that kept barking really loudly which was quite disturbing.

We have just visited The Manor House for lunch, and had a lovely meal. Highly recommend the food, but our quick lunch was made all the more special by our waitress Jane. We’ll def be returning!

Getting it just right for an English Sunday lunch is less easy than you would expect. Many pubs and restaurants try to ‘fancy up’ and recreate the typical delivery of our classic English ‘must have’ weekend meal - in Winter especially- and miss the point,...More

Hi Sarah, we allow dogs in our bar area, where we also serve food. Let us know how may guests you want, what date and time and we will see whether we can accommodate you. Thanks Phil

I think they may. But not sure. However staff are most helpful whenever we've visited. Why not ring and check. Worth it
