Went there with my wife on a trip to Port Macquarie. Super friendly staff, fast service, hot and delicious food, good prices. Loved the atmosphere, shame we missed the live act, as we went on a Sunday. Had a blast trying out the awesome cocktails, thanks to the amazing bar girl. Wish we were local so that we can visit... Our second time at Mi Casa Restaurant was even better than our first time around. From the friendly service we got to the lovely tapas entrees to the most gorgeous paella I think I ever tasted, it was perfection. The four tapas entrees were super tasty little morsels and the paella full of chicken, prawns and chorizo. The servings were... More

We ordered four tapas for two mature people and that was plenty. Varied, tasty, interesting dishes which tapped into local produce with a Spanish theme. Not a tortilla in site! We would go back another time.

The ladies of our party enjoyed Sangria while the gentlemen started with an excellent dark beer from NZ and moved on to a very tasty Rioja. The Paela was very special - as good as I've eaten anywhere including Barcelona. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful and did a good job. A most enjoyable night out with friends.

Went on very busy Saturday evening with no booking, they made up table on balcony which was first class. Ordered "appetiser" of toasts with anchovies, tomato and garlic (need not have ordered extra). Tapas arrived to quickly and filled table. Very tasty prawn dish, salty asparagus and a dry mestball dish.

We arrived at Mi Casa around 7.00 in the evening and had ordered Linguini Prawn by about 7.30. When our meal had not been served by nearly 9.00pm we got up and left. What can I say. Our worst dinning experience ever.

We ordered what the menu said were gluten free meals but there was some in there somewhere either cross contamination or chef not totally aware as with 5 minutes of eating I was in agony from reaction to gluten. I am always really careful but in the end you have to trust the chef if you want to eat out... More

Not as good as when we were last there. No sooner had been served our Breads and dippings our two tapas appeared, the scallops were cold and the Pork Belly was O.K. We complained but got nowhere. The place had gone up market since last there. Would nt return.

Amazing food. I wish I was staying another night in Port Macquarie so I could try more dishes. I highly recommend eating here.

The décor was simple but appropriate for a Spanish restaurant offering tapas or mains and sangria. It is necessary to book as the restaurant is very popular and busy. Food was excellent but we the made mistake of enjoying bruschetta entrees that filled us a little and we struggled to get through our mains, which was a pity as they... More

Mi Casa is Tapas Restaurant. Currently run by Local Award winning husband and wife team, Brendan and Jennis Field, who are both qualified Pastry Chefs. With Years of experience in the hospitality industry, including setting up a successful Pie and Pastry cafe in Chatswood. The move back to Port Macquarie, and the decision to take on a Tapas restaurant, with 2 young children at home, has been a challenging one, but also very rewarding.
