Had lunch at the tavern . Meals were reasonably priced. Outside seating was pleasant. Great wood fired pizza. Good coffee and cake deal. Staff were friendly. Good for families.

Plenty of choice for everyone (including a slightly fussy 13 year old granddaughter), we settled on fettuccine cabonara, Chicken Neptune (basically... More

This is a little bit of an unknown secret. Just ticked off the esplanade south of Bargara it's got everything you need. Nice restaurant and cafe, pokies, bar, TAB. Courtesy bus is a plus as we had a few visitors staying and no one really wants to drive around Xmas. Steak, seafood, snitz, pasta, kids meals. Games room for kids.... More

Visited the Tavern with a group of golfing friends while staying for a weekend recently. Very let down with the food, which was very average. The only highlight was the free bus pick up service and not having to drive back to the resort we were staying at. Try somewhere else!

We were picked up by the owner Dave in a courtesy bus as this is a little bit out of the town centre. Dave and his family were very hospitable and have a great range of beverages and meals on offer. Amazing how the level of service steps up a notch when you encounter a family that have their heart... More

Went for a meal with friends and although we had to wait a little while (but they were very busy) the food was well worth the wait as each of us had a great meal cooked to perfection.

A wonderful meal, very filling and great prices. After a full day travelling, it was lovely to sit in a nice area and have a good hearty meal. We enjoyed watching the fish and occupants of the aquarium. Biggest fish Ive seen
