Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome fruit toast and decent coffee. Tiny cafe though, so on a cold day it is grossly insufficient. They locked me out by mistake but eventually let me in.

Often a Cafe I go that I know I will have a Top Notch Coffee Experience! With a fine selection of delectable foods and a very cosy setting, it deserves more publicity than I think it gets. My highlight is the Nutella/Jam Filled Donuts, that...they have usually fresh for sale, however they fly out of the door quick.More

Very small cafe with insufficient seating inside. Ends up being very noisy. The coffee was a very strong flavour that I found was difficult to appreciate. Inadequate parking in the immediate area.

The coffee is really good and although they don't have a great range of sweets and food, what they have is all home made and really great. I had the carrot cake and it was freshly made and delicious. A great little café to catch...up with friends.More

Ever since parking in Toowoomba’s CBD became problematic Red Bench became a favourite of mine. Good coffee, efficient service and a nicely-contained selection of food are all a big win. Situated in East Toowoomba it does attract lots of parents around drop off time -...so be aware of the activewear, toddler crunch if you’re planning a business meeting. The cafe has inside and outside seating, which is perfect on a sunny day. Limited parking at the rear of the building. The large mural which adorns the wall by artist Jonathan Calugi is particularly special!More

Donut lovers this is the place to go too, the Nutella donut is amazing, but so is the salted caramel as well as the jam donuts. They sell other food items too but I am totally won over with the Nutella donuts. Coffee is very...strong. Service is great.More

Located between a barbers shop and an Indian Restaurant just near Toowoomba Grammar on Margaret street. Easy to miss however today we saw it on the way to another cafe. It's small with a few places inside and more outside with tables in front of...the cafe and the barbers shop. Good coffee however limited menu for lunch with 1 toasted sandwich, a wrap and 2 small quiches. So I had the toasty and my parter the quiche plus 2 coffees. All up cost was $28 which seemed excessive for the small servings. Nice staff, pleasant and helpful but overall it's not a place I would return to with so many other places close by. Small cafe with small servings and limited menu.More

Popping through Toowoomba on the way to the Western Downs and we were desperate for nourishment. Brilliant coffee (they use BonSoy) and friendly staff. We had a couple of wraps (lovingly toasted) and were on our way in a matter of 5 mins. Clean toilet...facilities were also available for customers. Overall: exactly what I hope to have when I am on the road and travelling and need friendly faces and great coffee. Thank you team!More

What can I say, a perfect take away coffee...this is a pretty major compliment coming from someone who regularly has to throw away $5 cups of coffee in disgust. It's so majic when you find that rare barista who really knows how to get it...right.More

Popped in to this neat little eatery just east of the city on Margaret Street (near Toowoomba Grammar) with a business colleague for lunch. Good fresh selection of salads, bagels, wraps - and their is a good menu to select from. Pot of tea and...an iced latte topped of a nice lunch. Friendly staff, quick service - and the food was "yum"! Another good Toowoomba experience!!!More

Probably the best cafe to go to in Toowoomba if you want consistently great coffee. The staff are very friendly and knowlegeable. My only qualm is the limited nutritious breakfast items.

Always awesome coffee, food, atmosphere and staff. I go here quite a lot and have tried quite a few different things on the menu and everything I have tried has been excellent. Coffee is always so great here and the Heirloom hot chocolates are a...real treat. What makes the place though are the awesome, friendly staff of Red Bench.More
