So admittedly we came to have some lunch at the end of the allotted lunch service time frame but, a customer is a customer and if I have an experience that is less than comfortable or welcoming then guess what... I am going to be annoyed and I am going to tell people and I will probably not come back.... More

Nice local restaurant with very good fresh food, quick service. Nice to meet friends and family for lunch or afternoon tea. Parking available on street.

First time at Pump. Nice environment (particularly for the ladies). Long wait at the register to order when the restaurant wasn't busy - just seemed to take a while for people to order / pay. We ate outside as restaurant was a bit chilly on a beautiful day. I'm probably being picky but food was enjoyable without being noteworthy.

Stumbled on this coffee shop, and now it is our number 1 go to place. Sure there are negatives, parking - it is cramped and not that safe as you try to reverse with cars behind you trying to get to the drive through. Best option is park opposite out side St James church and walk across the road. Not... More

Good Merlo coffee, friendly service - slow drive though. I always go back, so it couldn't be that bad!

This cafe is just great. There is always a huge selection of tasty offerings with the regular fare given creative twists to change things up. The cake and sweets selection is fabulous. Not just the mass-produced same old that many cafes serve these days. Their scones, with daily favour changes, are a particular favorite of mine served with a cup... More

Great gluten free options and really good to see gf cakes on one shelf and not being contaminated with other cakes. That alone will bring me back. The healthy start breakfast with ham was delicious. Coffee was about the best in toowoomba - perfect crema.

We were on foot and had decided to stop at the first coffee place we found. The Merlo coffee was very good and the food quite acceptable. The premises really needs to make up its mind though, about what it is. They sold gourmet deli stuff which was in keeping, but also gifts and accessories which seemed a bit out... More

Enjoy breakfast, lunch or a cuppa with something sweet The Pump has it all. Fast efficient service with great coffee and friendly staff. The Ladies will enjoy the craft and jewelry on displace They also stock cheeses and other delicatessen for the more refined pallet

Good variety of food, portions nice size and not too large or small, just right. Prices reasonable too.
