Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. The setting is lovely, the young and enthusiastic staff are charming and excellently trained and the food memorable. The night we ate there we hadn't booked, but were able to enjoy an aperitif outside in the evening sunshine until a table became available.

We did enjoy the meal overall but it did not rate highly given the great seafood we had enjoyed as we traveled up the East Coast. The service was great, venue is good but the food was hit and miss. Particularly disappointing was the lemon cured Salmon entree, it was like jerky.

We didn't have a booking but the very obliging staff looked after us until a table became available. Great location. Quality of the food matched the location.

With plenty of attentive staff on hand the service was efficient without being intrusive, our meals arrived promptly and where excellent.

Wow, modern seafood done right! Some banging options on the menu, too much to choose from. We settled on natural oysters and a Clover Hill sparkling. Amazingly fresh, creamy and delish. Entree slow cooked Abalone with soba noodles was light and packed with flavor, felt like I was in Japan, seriously a stand out dish. Chowder was packed with flavor... More

A kitchen full of people who care about seafood. Fresh seafood, nice setting, flavourful dishes, very friendly service with plenty of great information about the food quality and where it is locally sourced.

Food was tasty but the portion was rather small. Combine with wine you need to have a budget of about $70 per adult. We will save up for next visit!

Look, you arent going to get this quality food cheaply. We went there to enjoy Tasmanian fresh seafood (as a treat) and were very happy with the seafood platter - it filled us both up (bearing in mind, I don't eat like a teenage boy).

This restaurant needs to focus a little more on flexibility and customer service. We arrived for dinner having pre-booked. We were shown to probably not the best table in the restaurant which was by no means full, and asked for a table that was free by the window. They made such a fuss about changing it! When we were seated,... More
