We were just arriving in Lakes and were looking for somewhere to eat before hitting the town, stumbled across this hotel, had two pizzas for $5 each, glass of wine and the view, breathtaking. Definitely will go back for Dinner

What isn't their to like about the hotel? It is away from the tourist stretch, it is on a cliff with views as far as the eye can see, the staff are friendly and the food fantastic. We enjoyed a 3 course meal over the space of about 3 hours. The owners were happy for us to enjoy ourselves and... More

Busy night with three large tables and another 15-20 patrons but only 1 person serving meals, cleaning tables and setting tables with another behind the bar taking food orders and trying to serve drinks. Long delays everywhere. Ordered san choy bow and waited 50 mins for a large soggy lettuce leaf in a soupy sauce with hard twice cooked pork... More

We had an absolutely brilliant meal here. We were reluctant to go back as we ate there September 2015 and it was terrible. Decided to give it another go after being told it was under new management. The Chicken Parma was magnificent with very fresh salad and Chips. I had the Pumpkin Rissotto followed by the Meringue dessert. Both were... More

We were out to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Funnily living in East Gippsland for 25 years, we had never been here before. We booked a table with a view, and we were told to get there early to enjoy the sunset. That was the start of a perfect night. The staff were wonderful, and the food was of exceptional... More

This pub is trying too hard. It's a pub down a hill off Lakes Entrance itself - it isn't Southbank guys! Added to that it is clearly executed by a below average chef. Maybe the dishes have been taken off a TV show or something because even though relatively simple in theory - the end product is terrible. Service was... More

We came for dinner to this lovely looking pub. Very fresh and spacious setting on the hilltop above Lakes Entrance. We ordered the sharing entree platter which cobsisted of spring rolls, dip, bread, goat cheese, arancini balls, croquettes and the most delicious pate. Upon eating this lovely tasting plate, we were too full for mains. So we skipped straight on... More

Good pub food in a great location. Sweeping views of the Gippsland Lakes and Ninety Mile Beach. Smallish menu but enjoyed the pork belly - very tasty and moist. Staff friendly and helpful.
