Spending the night in Mildura we selected the Rendevous based on our motel keeper's recommendation. Were quite pleased with the food which was tasty. My gnocchi was superb. Our first wine choice turned out to be not available, but our second, a Pinot Noir called Lalaland was excellent. Service levels varied with reminders needed for our entree and to start... More

If your after a fantastic dining experience at a very reasonable price than this is the place to go in Mildura. The service is top rate and the food to die for. Immaculately presented. I had one of the best pork belies that I've ever had. Perfect. The wine list isnt very comprehensive but the wines on offer are top... More

When passing by this looked like a good restaurant, nicely presented with crisp white tablecloths. The food was excellent. I had the beef cheeks and my wife had the grilled roo. The waitresses were very friendly, but the male waiter (Pauly?) was a bit of a grump. After I had given the wine list back, I decided to order a... More

Being NYE the restaurant was fully booked. Luckily we arrived around 6pm and advised them we weren't going to take long, so they managed to get us a table. Nice decor & atmosphere. Drinks came quickly. Food was great, oysters & tasting plate to start, we totally recommend these! We were also happy with thes Steak & creamy chicken mushroom... More

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely staff member - he showed us to our table and immeditatley set up a highchair for our daughter. The waitress who served us was lovely, continually filled our water without being asked, was not pushy or hurried to take our order either which was nice. We were given a complimentary starter to... We popped in for lunch with two families of 5 and sat down outside under the cooling overhanging trees. The younger kids choose from kids menu and food size and quality was great. A glass on wine and a cool refreshing beer for the adults was great start. I ordered an osso buco pasta and it was wonderful, everyone enjoyed... More

We were among the first in but it soon filled up. It is a large place with function rooms but retains an intimate atmosphere. Staff were helpful, informative and efficient. Food was excellent. I opted for the chef's 'slow' menu which was very good. All for quite a modest price!

The $17pp share plate included a healthy dollop of supermarket dip with Jatz crackers along with some deep fried packet food. I ordered a kangaroo dish for main that sounded amazing from the menu but was ruined with the medium rare preparation coming out as medium well. Uninspiring veges to match. 2 stars for a nice setting and friendly service.

Description
Rendezvous is testament to the belief that commitment creates unforgettable flavours, experiences and moments. Homage to classic à la carte in a modern context. Founded in 1934 in a quirky single frontage building in Langtree Avenue Mildura, Rendezvous soon became a favourite haunt for locals & travellers. Evolving from a classical French style restaurant with a niche following, its first and only ownership change during 2011 signified a shift in direction, with a focus on regional produce and a reinvigorated dedication to "relaxed" fine dining as an experience. Still in its original location, Rendezvous has grown to become the "Heart of Feast Street" and has achieved industry acclaim and recognition. Rendezvous challenges the notion that great dining only exists in the capitals. "Tastes to Share Moments to Remember" Since 1934
