We ate here tonight. What a lovely surprise. The staff were friendly, the food was so fresh and tasty and very well priced, which surprised me being a seaside town and Christmas holidays. Not one complaint from our table. I had the Coco Prawns..yum yum yum..husband had a crispy pork belly dish with nim jam I think. Daughter had pork rotisserie roll. We shared a main of chicken ribs and we all had the black sticky rice for dessert. We booked two days in advance because the night we wanted to go we didn’t have a booking and they were booked up to capacity. Make sure you book. Tonight they had a couple of walk ins, but that was it, they were turning people away. This is a good thing I think. Great prices, great food and friendly staff keep bums on seats.. great job guys 👍🏻

We ordered the Cashew nut stir-fry with beef plus side dish of coconut rice and Singapore fried rice with pork. All the food was mouthwatering and the staff were helpful in their knowledge of the menu. Dessert was banana fritters. Yum. Service was good, not slow. We usually wouldn't go somewhere twice while on holiday, but Red Spoon could definitely be an exception to the rule!

This place was sensational. Check out their website for their menu, and you’ll see that from a Thai perspective for the quality this is incredibly cheap. It is also BYO drinks, including beer. We ordered prawn dumplings, roti, Salt and pepper calamari (Gorgeous soft and tender) for entree, and for main the $26 sizzling seafood platter with prawns calamari scallops etc, along with their pork belly specialty. Everything was beautiful, but of particular note was the pork belly which actually fell apart on your fork that’s how soft moist but well cooked and crispy it was. In my 53 years this is probably the best pork belly that I’ve ever had, certainly the best that I can remember. Highly recommend this place, we were here on a Sunday night, So we could walk in without a booking and it was relatively quick. The young waitress was very efficient and pleasant. Again definitely go here if you’re wanting a nice casual relaxed BYO dinner.

We popped in to the Red Spoon restaurant on the was to a show. The service was excellent and the food was great. Started with chef’s special entree then I shared the crisp pork belly and sizzling seafood. Recommend both dishes. BYO and enjoy this dining experience

The staff were nice enough. The entrees were quite good. The mains were honestly awful and probably the worst Thai we’ve had (we had the chilli basil stir fry which we get at every Thai restaurant we go to). It was watery and flavourless and the meat was tough. Unsure if they used frozen vegetables or if they were just not great.
Sorry to say it was pretty disappointing really. Hopefully we just went on the wrong night.

We found this restaurant to be cosy, with friendly staff and delicious food.
We’re a vegan family and had read great reviews and we weren’t disappointed.
We ordered several mains to share as well as entrees and didn’t have any issues with vegan options.
We ordered Golden Tofu with satay sauce. A touch of salt on the tofu and this dish would have been 10/10!
Vegan Spring rolls were super tasty and a hit with the kids.
Penang Curry with Veg - so tasty.
Garlic and pepper stir fry with tofu and veg. Yum!
Chilli basil fried rice. We ordered this without egg and it was very tasty.
Not HUGE portions, but 3 mains and 2 entree with steamed rice for 2 adults and 2 tweens with decent appetites - this was comfortably enough.
BYO $2 corkage which is also great!
We will be back!

We recently enjoyed a meal at Red Spoon not only was the service fantastic but the food was delicious.
Flavours weren’t enhanced with artificial flavours, sauces or additives, our Thai ginger chicken tasted like a dish we’d had in Thailand, authentic and natural. The deep fried pork was equally as good, and the entrees were fresh and home made. We highly recommend and will definitely return

We enjoyed our meal at Red Spoon. Great menu with dishes you don’t often see in the average Thai restaurant. I enjoyed the vegetarian options (eg delicious tofu larb) while partner satisfied his meaty urges with a crying tiger. We both also enjoyed the pineapple... also don’t usually get this in average Thai ... service was great. Highly recommend and will return next time in Warrnambool.

This venue certainly didn’t wow us. It wasn’t poor, nor was it excellent. For entrees we have the calamari and chicken satay. For mains we had a special Thai papaya salad and prawns, and a Coco Prawn with Jasmine Rice.
The venue was a bit dark and not overly inviting, and the music playing in the background was certainly not from Thailand. The service was good and quick, and the prices were reasonable. The calamari was quite average. Maybe grill it next time rather than deep fry in oil. The chicken satay was really not the best. While the peanut sauce was tasty, the chicken was extremely tough on all 4 skewers. Not sure what happened here, but we have had chicken satay numerous times before and a good satay has the meat melting in your mouth, and with little effort to remove it from the skewer. The prawns on both main dishes should be the hero on both dishes, but they were not. They were bland packeted and tasteless prawns. The dressing on the papaya salad was good, as was the coconut flavour.
I am sure there will be a spirited defence by owner, but we have eaten Thai in a dozen countries including several trips to Thailand, and the meal we had here was average.

Went for dinner for two people. Ordered an entree of curry puffs and spring rolls which were was quite nice. Ordered Penang Curry Chicken and steamed rice for main and unfortunately after one mouthful, had to be spat out immediately as the chicken was off. It tasted absolutely terribly and was definitely off. The sauce was very runny as well not like a normal Penang sauce. We could have persevered with the dish had the chicken been ok. To the restaurants credit they did not charge us for the Penang curry but we still paid for the entre and the rice which we did not eat. The ambiance was quite nice, and the restaurant decorated in typical Asian theme just a shame about the food.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you received in our restaurant. But we guarantee that our chicken will not rot. Our restaurant uses fresh chicken. I remembered your table after you complained. I took your food in to check. But the food and chickens weren't a problem. That night our restaurant was very busy. Every customer is happy with our food. If our chicken is really rotten Every customer has to complain. But our sales were $5,800, but only your table told us our chicken was bad.

Ordered takeaway For 2. 2 terrible meals. Both meals smelled and tasted terrible.
The chicken cashew stirfry and the fried noodle dish smelled and tasted fishy.
Straight into the bin for them both. Hoping we wont be sick.

Excellent service. We had curry puffs & chicken satay sticks for entree. Red curry duck & pork spare ribs with unique sauce for mains & banana fritters for dessert. Was absolutely delicious!

We decided on Thai food for the evening.
The Red Spoon was in a handy location just around the corner of our accommodation at the Quest Apartments.
We did order takeaway being so close, but the 6 different banquet’s on offer, did look interesting, so will have to choose to dine in next time.
Our takeaway consisted of a few of the mixed entree's which included; spring rolls, curry puffs, satay chicken skewers and fishcakes.
A Red curry, Chicken fried rice, Thai beef salad and of course, the traditional Pad Thai.
All the food was of good quality, taste and with traditional Thai flavours.
I especially loved the creaminess of the Red Curry.

Terrific Thai . We turned up without a booking while on a weekend away and were accommodated promptly. The food we ordered was excellent , and I highly recommend the beef massamun curry and the sticky rice desert. Just note that the restaurant is not licensed but it is BYO. You can buy wine close by . Great option if you’re in Warnambool

Great service, the tables were well spaced due to Covid and the food was very good. We had 5 different entrees for dinner which was plenty for 2 adults. An added bonus was BYO wine (there was a small corkage charge), but it certainly made the night very affordable.
