    Great theme

    Stopped for lunch and glad we did. Bit of a laugh when I ordered the Big Bugger breakfast. Food was very well prepared and there was plenty of it. Prices were moderate. I would recommend this as an above average cafe.

    I had heard a lot about this cafe an many said the food was amazing...And dispite the name we thought we would give a go. The prices for cabinet stuff like cakes and slices were steep for what we received. The meals weren't as expensive...but...More

    Great 'Pit Stop'

    Called in for a coffee and snack on journey. The date scones were delicious. This is a unique cafe with lots of humorous quotes and quirky touches. A good menu with delicious looking food. Wish there were more of these cafes around.

    Funky and Good Food

    Bugger this and bugger that in faux quotes on the wall. Bugger burger is great as is regular NZ breakfast.

    Fine and funny

    Very friendly. Found a a perfect paleo solution but really good menu for everyone. The wall are plastered with funny memorabilia. Good clean conveniences. We were impressed all round.

    MANAGEMENT LOST INTEREST

    called in for late lunch no soup run out 2.15pm but some items available in cabinet labels wrong , no chicken as advertised but filled with ham ordered a croissant which was heated in a microwave so all soggy tasty because of the spicy pickle...More

    A great caffeine break with humour

    What a great place to stop--the food was first rate as was the coffee. The concept though was fantastic--had us chuckling from the moment we pulled in (did I mention easy access and egress). Well done decor and actually very tasteful considering the hilarious theme....More

    Great little stop which has something for everyone

    We stop here often on the way from Auckland to Coromandel. We normally "only" have some coffee and some snacks but it's just what you need and expect from a cafe like this. Great atmosphere, a little playground for the kids and no-fuss food and...More

    Our cafe is different from other cafes. Besides offering excellent food and coffee, it is our intent that you leave our cafe happier than when you came in. Our decor celebrates 'bugger moments' and encourages you to have a laugh at life. We believe life is too serious and if you laugh more everything is better. Our food is fresh, succulent, tasty and, wherever possible, local. So everything we sell will fit into these categories. We make everything on site. All are baristas are highly trained to deliver you the perfect brew.
