This place looksunderstated from the street frontage, all you can see is the food cabinet, service counter and a few stools and a leaner by the front window. But once you are inside you will find there is a nice area at the rear of the cafe, with a great out look over the town. Nice big windows and carpet... More

I often call in here for brekki or lunch. Delicious options on the menu. They aren't incredibly fast on service so don't go here if you are in a hurry. Nice fire out the back for winter days! Healthy food that still tastes great! Watch their business hours though, especially in summer, as they cut them right back!

Food very good - poached eggs on toast with a tasty tomato relish, the other meal was salmon on toast with the same relish. Coffee was very good. Would return for that alone! Fast pleasant service.

Amazing "real" and healthy food. Everything is delicious, fresh and priced right. Better then any Auckland cafes I've been to lately. Amazingly creative and inovative. They use a lot of organics and food is very fresh!

It served modern healthy looking food. The salads were delicious. There were lots of counter food to choose from plus more from a menu.

After visiting Nectar about a year ago we thought we would try it again. We even ordered the same dishes (big breakfast with coffee) as during our last visit. I had been told the staff were new and things had improved but as much as I wanted to enjoy the experience, it fell well short of what I expected. Staff... More

Coffee always great. Have nice Barong cabinet food and there is a limited menu to order from. They do have quite a few gluten free options which is great. Had a very hard stale disappointing almond croissant last week, so wouldn't recommend that at all. Muffins and scones are fresh baked and nice.

Walking into Nectar you are greeted warmly by all the friendly staff. The food(!!) a great range of healthy takes on traditional cafe favourites, with all the gluten-free/dairy-free/Paleo etc options you can think of. I'm a burger-eating, nachos loving, cheese scrumming 1990s cafe goer kind of guy and Nectar proves that healthy eating can taste GREAT and not kill your... More

Its a shame this place isn't in a better location, as its so hard to get parking near by, the food was lovely and tasty with great friendly service. Love the atmosphere..

Go to Nectar if you are looking for great gluten-free, dairy-free or Paleo options for eating. Coffee is good with soy and almond milk readily available. The cosy ambience from the wood burning fire adds something special to your visit.
