Very good hotel right on the waterfront. Good service and the rooms were clean and tidy. Would recommend

We took pot luck one night early in April. We had low expectations, not really sure why. Anyway, even though we rocked up quite late - we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. We ate one of the best Seafood Chowders I've ever...More
Excellent food - cannot fault it at all. The service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely revisit this restaurant.
Great food, great service, very friendly staff ( they were great!!)and a very good wine list. Kaikoura wine by the glass, really delicious, and not available in stores. This was a dinner for friends and it was really enjoyed. We were impressed.
Our waitress was fantastic, full credit to her, the best service I have had in a restaurant. I had the prawn and chorizo linguine which was outstanding. Far better than any Italian restaurants I have eaten at. Will definitely eat here again
For an up market restaurant we had a relatively disappointing level of service. the food was good although the crayfish specialty was not available.
Great treat to find this excellent establishment. The lamb, beef and wine were perfect. Thank you! We have a new place to stop in Kaikoura.
We had a lovely dinner here--with a charming waitress. Food was good and nice atmosphere. I would definitely eat there again, but on the whole, we found Kaikoura a bit more touristy than we typically enjoy,
Had to wait for the food for more than 45 minutes. Far overpriced : neither the taste no the size of the portions matched the price required.
We all had lamb- (we are in nz after all) and it was delicious. One of us tried a dessert and she was in heaven. The wines were also excellent. Great choice for inning - not cheap but definitely quality plus.
