Your rating system goes from 'average' to 'very good' and for various reasons I rated this 'slightly better than average, but it did not reach the heights of "Very good". I read another review where someone had gone in for the burger 'special'. We did the same, but sadly our Entertainment Book voucher was not acceptable, so we also opted... More

Went to the Vic for Sunday dinner after an Abel Tasman Park walk and when we got there we were starving. Both my wife & I had the Roast Deal which was a roast dinner and a dessert for $20. The meal was fabulous, we had the Lamb and Apple Crumble for dessert. The staff were great and easy going... More

this place has the best food choice and tapas ever. Huge tapas and delicious. Loved the Garlic flat bread! The polenta chips were great too. 10/10

Went in to Vic's for their Wed. (And Thursday) special of a burger and beer for $20. Unfortunately they ran out so we went for other options which were wonderful. We had the salmon steak ($30) which was done perfectly, the sea food chowder ($12) which was one of the best I had and the blue cheese croquets ($11) which... More

The Tuesday night special was fish and chips with either wine or beer for twenty dollars. The fish was delicious and freshly cooked and the meal included a good helping of fresh salad. The white wine was lovely. Good friendly service and pleasant surroundings with no children made this a very enjoyable meal.

Visiting nelson with a friend and popped in for something easy to eat. It was a Saturday night and fairly busy but we were served quickly and politely. We ordered a burger each with onion rings and chips which were all very yummy - nice and simple pub food! Staff were lovely and friendly and even stopped to offer advice... More

We had a wet days hiking Abel Tasman National Park and then enjoyed a terrific dinner and drinks at teh Vic Brewbar in Nelson. The waiter and service was first class with top notch recommendations for beers and wines to match our food. Not only did he know his stuff, but got it right and provided a great NZ pub... More

Had the $20 burger special, available some weekdays. Includes a drink, which makes it good value as the drinks can be $9. We asked for no buns, but they came with buns & I asked if there was mayonnaise and was told no, just a guacamole spread; but the salad on the burger was soaked in mayo. Not a huge... More

We were a large group looking for somewhere to eat late on a public holiday. The team at the Brew Bar were great at sorting us out. Good menu, friendly atmosphere, fun evening with family.

Been here several times before. Luke the beers, but I had the monkfish fish and chips main. Not overly impressed. Too much batter and very little fish. The salad was a garnish. Other Brew Bars across the country do the F & C better. On the plus side, my wife's pork ribs were melting off the bone. Talk about food... More
