I've heard good things about Taste Cornucopia so was keen to visit. The rice risotto I ordered was awful, a mush that looked and tasted like lukewarm porridge. It neither looked nor tasted like risotto and was an expensive disappointment.

We had all day breakfast, a burger, a latte, a mocha and a carrot cake. The burger was perfectly cooked with great bread and beef and thick slices of blue cheese. The coffees tasted strong and clean. The cake was fantastic. Overall a very satisfying meal.

I used to go here a lot, but the coffee has deteriorated unfortunately. The food is great, but the coffee is very watery. Great vegetarian or vegan place. I love it, but won't buy coffee here again, this is the third time my coffee has been bad. 😰

My friend and I went here for lunch this week. We both enjoyed a very healthy and filling apricot muffin. My friend then indulged in a slice of Almond Cake while I chose the Mocha Cake which was divine!!!

Absolutely beautiful lunch, from the hot lemon and ginger aperitif drink to my favourite coffee. Daughter had a bean wrap with salad and I had a Filo filled with chicken, and a salad

We visited Hastings early in the morning, and were on the lookout for a healthy cafe in the main street. One of my friends spied Cornucopia and we parked right outside. They had a great assortment of healthy breakfast foods, organic and well displayed. The hot drinks were pricey (same as Auckland city), but delicious. After our meal, the cook... More

Description
Taste Cornucopia is our intimate, organic eatery in the heart of Hastings. Chef James Beck makes everything on site - from bread to ice cream to Taste's very own marshmallows.
Families are more than welcome and we have a special kids menu and play area.
We offer a wide range of cabinet and menu food, from a muffin and a coffee to the old school eggs Benedict, to a glass of wine with our somewhat more sophisticated Friday evening fare.
We try not to overstate the fact that we are organic. Our philosophy has always been to offer outstanding food and service... Food that just happens to be mostly organic.
