Step back in time and enjoy a slice of Arrowtown’s rich heritage. The carefully preserved historic cottage, once home to the town’s postmasters, has been a main street feature since the 1860s and is now a popular restaurant surrounded by beautiful gardens. Enjoy the beauty of each season at Postmasters, whether it's soaking up the sun whilst sitting out on the verandah with a refreshing drink or inside by the open fires with a homemade mulled wine in the colder months. The seasonal menu features fresh flavours, top quality local produce, and Central Otago wines which showcase the best of this famous wine-making region. Plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options available as well as a dedicated

We ate here twice, having been recommended by our B&B hosts rather than having a dinner in Queenstown and we were not disappointed. Great tasting food, knowledgeable staff, excellent service and reasonably priced. What else can you ask for? Lovely setting and easy parking. Unforgettable!

We had lunch and our table had the buddha bowl, consisting of soup, hommus and salad ,falafel bowl and the seafood chowder. The food was fresh and quality.

We enjoyed a breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Tea was served in old fashioned china cups and saucers which was nice. We sat inside but outside seating was also available. Quite expensive but nice for a treat.

Had breakfast here with a group of 6 and it was fantastic. They were happy to cater for allergies and requests. Great service and food. Also had afternoon drinks with lots of choice. Need a return visit to try the scones which looked delicious!

We had high expectations but sadly our meals were nice, but not amazing. The chicken supreme lacked any sauce at all so not what we hoped for. Maybe the chef's night off, a shame because the staff were exceptional.

The meal was only surpassed by the ambience of the lovely building and surrounds and the attentive and cheerful service. Well done guys!

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Postmasters. We had a range of meals and all were delicious. Standout service from Alex and rest of the team made our night even better. If you have a sweet tooth, try the brownie!

Arrowtown is full of character and The Postmasters fits in well. The staff were really helpful, friendly and efficient. Our party of four all chose different things and everyone enjoyed what they had. A really pleasant evening.
