Enjoyed sitting outside and watching the world go by with a glass of wine. Good blue cod and chips. And the coffee was good too.

After a big day dong the queenstown marathon came here for dinner. Fine food, great friendly service and an excellent venue to catch up with friends. I had venison on a potato gratin with beans & broccoli with an amazing sauce. Friends had the Blue Cod & pork belly burger.

We went on a Wenesday night "Irish night" - Irish music played by anyone who wanted to jam. Unfortunately we had a dinner booking, otherwise we would have stayed

My wife and I had lunch here today and loved the food and the number of craft beers available. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local brewers and their products. Definitely recommend this to anyone that needs to take a break when doing the tourist thing in Arrowtown.

Inside was decorated really nice. Lots of outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Nice platter. Only downside is they don't do shots. Our friend wanted one and they don't offer them due to it being a family orientated bar

We took shelter from the cold and rain in the first place we could find. How lucky were we! It's got a great atmosphere, old world charm and a blazing fire. A good range of ales and a tasty snack set us up for the rest of the day.

Omfg this place. That very rare combo of beautiful cosy, comfy pub that is a genuine historical building, and fresh seasonal, local produce with all free range or wild meat. SO WELL COOKED. The food... I can't even... Try the wild venison and the wild rabbit cannelloni. And then the beers... Fantastic range of New Zealand craft beer without being... More

Arrowtown is probably a destination you might never put on your South Island itinerary. It wasn't on mine either. That was until our videographer told us about this wonderful little pub where random people just come together and play music. Sounds pretty much like what Hobbits do in Middle Earth and it really is! It's a 20 min drive from... More
