Lovely atmosphere in the Dog & Partridge the food is what you'd expect from a village pub. They now stock fever tree and they treat your furry friends as their own.

Thank you for notifying that you are actually closed on Mondays. Booked weeks in advance an no mention on your website. A call to me would have been welcome. Poor communication - very poor.

We went here last Saturday evening as the vegan options were reviewed as excellent. Not so, there was a choice of 4 mains, two of which were rice based, one stir fry (not very imaginative) and the lasagne had run out. The restaurant was extremely...More

Long wait for food, but didn't mind as a very pleasant place to sit and chat and have a drink. Staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately that's where it ended. Three of us had roast dinners which were very poor, the yorkshire puddings were...More

Lovely, clean, modern and contemporary pub with very friendly and efficient staff. The young barman on duty today (lunchtime: 26/5/2018) was very appealing on the eye. The pork belly was succulent and plentiful and the blueberry cheesecake made me want to grunt with pleasure with...More

First visit and was concerned about my allergies given the menu. Waiting staff were so helpful and attentive in ensuring my food was ok. The food we had was very good and will visit again.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Dog & Partridge last Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the mushroom and truffle risotto from the vegan menu and my husband had the pork belly from the special of the day, both were presented beautifully....More

I visited this restaurant on 20/05/2018 for a meal with my teenage daughter. Unfortunately a young waitress was extremely rude to us as apparently she knows my daughter from within the village and is also rude to my daughter when she see's her on a...More

I had a very nice relaxing time, sitting outdoors at the Dog & Partridge. I ordered the vegan tagine which was superb and I appreciated their varied beer selections. The pub is dog -friendly, particularly the back patio, which contributes to the convivial atmosphere to...More

Description
The Dog and Partridge offers a comfortable space for socialising and meeting friends over a drink or two or having a meal in our well established restaurant. Part of our success is the warm welcome you get from the owners Grace and Tomasz and the rest of our staff. Our team of chefs are fanatical about producing fresh food that taste great and that means sourcing ingredients locally and cooking it fresh every day. We have a diverse range of products that are healthy and delicious and some that are a little naughty but still delicious. With a good choice of food and drink, open fire, brilliant garden and a warm welcome to both locals and those visiting our area no wonder the Dog and Partridge is bustling with people. With an added bonus of being able to bring your dog booking a table to eat specially at the weekends is a must.
