We went spare of the moment to the horns and sat on the decking great garden for a family meal! The roast beef was one of the best roast I've had in a pub, well done chefs!

We visited for Sunday lunch and it was disappointing. The pork was fatty, but the beef seemed better and was cooked to preference. Choice of veg was tiny - carrots and cabbage in a small bowl for 2 The potatoes were burnt and tough to cut through. Yorkshire pud tasted burnt. It is expensive and nowhere near as good for... More

We were given a warm welcome and shown to a table in a room full of atmosphere. The restaurant was packed but the service was still excellent. We had a delicious Sunday roast and a naughty but very nice sticky toffee pudding. The wine choice was good and not too expensive. There were several big groups of friends and families... More

I had read good reports about The Horns and was not disappointed. I visited it to make the booking and to ensure I knew its exact location as it is a bit off the beaten track. As the restaurant was already booked for a function when I wanted it I was offered a separate room for our group of six,... More

Went for dinner at this pub beginning of the month and as it was our first time we went for simple fish and chips. The place is very nice well decorated but at one side of the pub its only a very high bench to sit, not so comfortable when eating. The service was good and friendly but our fish... More

Visited this pub today, while on a walk. Lovely place with good atmosphere and staff but drinks prices unacceptable. Ordered a pint of bitter, which wasn't too bad at £4.15 but also had a bottle of Koperberg cider, which cost £5.95. I obviously understand that I won't pay supermarket prices (£2 in Asda) in a pub but nearly £6 is... More

12 of us met here for lunch on New Year's day and all were very satisfied. I have given The Horns 5 stars as I cannot find fault with the place (It was my first visit). Service was friendly and attentive, all the food came out together and was very tasty. I had (and can recommend) Chicken and chorizo salad... More
