Nightclub wasn't open when we went and drinks were a bit expensive. Good if you want to watch sport on a big screen and the live music was alright.

We went to Magnums to meet friends who were staying there. I have to say we were disappointed with the lack-lustre atmosphere of the place considering it's attached to a back packers. The bar is also too small and took too long to get a drink. Better suited to families looking for a quick bite to eat or those wanting... More

We spent new years eve at Magnums. Bands were great and drinks were good. The toilets could have been a little cleaner.

Why not? If you're in the area on holiday what have you got to lose? Backpackers pub yes, but it's well known so you're kind of obliged to try it. The bar staff are friendly enough, a great variety of drinks including Canadian club on top (such a good thing for those like me who hate cans), reasonable prices I... More

Hostel had dirty bathrooms but is well located. Would recommend to anyone on a budget. The problem I had was with the American lady at reception (which also acts as a tourist info/booking site). We were attempting to find a tour suited to our needs but she was relentless on trying to sell one particular tour from one company (Big... More

great venue to meet people. There is usually a band playing every night. Cheap drinks and good food. Great central meeting place.

Magnums always has a bunch of live music and tunes that can be heard from the footpath, but don't let that fool you. You may or may not be surprised by the stickiness of the table, the mild aroma of spilt beer and late night spews. The bar man was rude but the security staff were lovely.

I was lucky enough to visit this club when Darude did his tour! The dance floor was covered in foam and it was an amazing experience! #springbreak2016

Good pub scene but we were disappointed that there was no kids menu, its not particularly a place for kids but most pubs offer a kids menu, no nuggets or anything. They were happy for us to bring macdonalds in though. Quite a blooey scene lots of bucks going on, but good for a drink and to check out 'the... More
