Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This tiny shop offers great Danish style ice creams. A sensible range of flavours, with multiple serving options. We opted for waffle cones and our 4 year old granddaughter chose a waffle cone with hundreds and thousands. The cost of living pressures were reflected in...the prices, but what isn't more expensive these days?More

Plenty of choice, good with waffle cone, had the boysenberry, banana and cookies & cream as a choice of three scoops. All went down a treat.

A good range of ice cream flavours. The chocolate topped cones cost, I think, $1 extra but are worth it. A wee local lad and his mum recommended this place as best ice creamery in town because they add cream etc for free! We passed...on that.More

One person making coffee (watery) and scooping ice cream meant a very slow process to get us three served. The people behind us eventually just walked away but still had enough time to reconsider and come back to the queue before we were done. The...ice cream is good, thick and creamy, but the flavours seemed mostly muted and boring. Winter brings a 2 scoops for the price of 1 deal but you can still get good gelato for the same price so I’m not too keen to return.More

Loved the selection and the size you get for the price is very reasonable, maybe share they are huge.

I love rich, creamy Danish ice cream flavours at the best of times , so it was a treat to chance upon Andersen's and to be shouted cones by friends yesterday. the perfect end to a hot summer's day. The boysenberry was just ideal as...a flavour and the chocolate cone was divine!More

Love our ice cream and tried the cafe in Coogee whilst on holidays. Flavours and texture were great but $2 extra for the chocolate and nut dip cone was not expected, especially as it was not showing or could be easily seen on the menu...board.More

Although this, in combination with Sydney prices generally, probably explains why two milkshakes cost $15. They weren't bad by any means, made with whatever ice cream (or combination of ice creams - three scoops are used) you want, but they still ended up tasting pretty...milky, as opposed to what the dominant ice cream flavour was: passionfruit in my case, mango for my husband. Good size though, and there's a small, shaded seating area out the front offering a welcome reprieve from the sun.More
