Greeting was pleasant. Service was friendly and efficient. As it is open at the front and no air conditioning it was still very warm inside on a humid day. Food was no frills but OK. Coffee was very good. I would happily and confidently return for breakfast

stayed in Coogee, I had Vegan stack and my girlfriend had Haloumi stack. We both really enjoyed them. Very friendly staff.

This is an honest and unpretentious cafe in the heart of Coogee. The service is good and the servings are generous. The menu is interesting and the dishes contain quality ingredients. Highly recommended for all day breakfast.

So many cafes to choose from on Coogee Bay Road, but we keep coming back here. The various breakfast stacks are my personal favourite: The brekky stack or the haloumi stack. Juices also rate highly as well as the milkshakes (nice a thick on request). Coffee always good. The random Indonesian lunch dish is also delcious

Only went in for coffee. Must be backpackers working here as hard to understand and not very friendly. Average coffee, no almond milk offered! Nice outdoor seating but that's probably the only thing going for it when there are so many other cafes worth venturing out to.

Food was average and the wait was very long for the amount of people there. It was a busy street at the time so chose the less busy place. Probably a reason for that...

A must visit cafe in Coogee. I Had Avo Special for B'fast and it was just fantastic! The touch of pesto and balsamic added a great flavour to poached eggs. Changing menus to suit the seasons, always fresh, delicious and great staff. Nothing is a problem for the owner and chef to make! Best Coffee ever.! My favourite. 👍🏾👏🏾

It is wonderful to bask in the morning sun and sip a perfectly-made double espresso. Coogee Cafe is just a couple minutes away from the beach and pretty much every table is a good table. The banana bread was also quite good: Light, not too sweet and not too fatty. Good place for a morning shot of espresso.

Staying in Coogee

Neighbourhood Profile
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
