Excellent location for a drink, a bite to eat and a quick coffee. Quick service , plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to meet up , and overlooks the Coogee Beach.

Came here for a business luncheon/drink. The 2 stars were for the location, amazing spot...but it stops there. As you walk in the door there's so many cool hideaways you can sit but the food is really bizarre. You can have seafood - pizza and antipasto - that's it. No breakfast to speak of, no light lunches. But if you... More

Eating off tin plates with rustic chips on the side and paying high prices is not my idea of a good lunch out. Pizza dough was great but the vegetables on the topping had not been sweated in an oven or on a griddle, so the base became wet and gluggy! The venue was also very noisy. It's really a... More

We went there for dinner. The place is crowded and noisy. We were seated at a high table on bar stools which was not comfortable at all for having dinner. I ordered a calzone and when it was brought to the table I touched it with my fingers and was getting ready to eat it. One of the waitresses stopped... More

We had a window seat and it was a breezy day. We had walked from Bondi and so it was time for a drink of water and cocktail. We did order a pizza, which was average at best. The drinks were good and the service from the bar was great and helpful, Nice place and we would be happy to... More

This place heaves in the evening s, especially at weekend. Breakfast is not it's strong point. Needs careful look at it's menu here. Insipid and uninteresting. Some staff a little rude. Others good.

Staying in Coogee

Neighbourhood Profile
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
