Because of its location, across the beach it is the rendez-vous of many locals. Beer is good along with good food, nothing fancy but scrumptious. I wish they would have oyster but they were out. That happens and unfortunately we went only one time during...More

We came here for the beach views. Whilst they arent as good as the pavillion, this place has a lot going for it. This is a great watering hole for young and for old, for tourists and locals alike. With plenty of seating and a...More

The brasserie at the Coogee Bay is simply not value for money. It is overpriced (perhaps they think they are an upmarket restaurant) and the quality of food is very poor.

A group of 12 of us had a meal here and there weren’t that many other people there. The staff seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with the orders of drinks and food. The food wasn’t too bad, if a little expensive. It is a...More

As usual, great venue.... food average but acceptable and place understaffed at the bar!!! Huge lines and this is one reason we don’t often come here. Why management can’t work out how to staff the bars adequately and avoid a 8 deep queue is beyond...More

I decided to order the rump steak and was really surprised by how nice it was. It was still moist and very tasty. The side salad completed the plate quite well. I also enjoyed the laid back casual environment. Well worth the visit just to...More
