Very nice fish shop near Coogee beach. Fish and chips were excellent for just $12. Tender and tasty fish in a light batter. The selection of marinated seafood looked beautiful too and though I didn't sample it, appeared expertly prepared. Would recommend.

When fish is what you need, this is the place to go in Coogee. Last night we had a choice of 12 different varieties. But it's not just the choice, it's also that they will cook it the way you want it. We've been here...More

We visited Sydney for 10 days in September 2018. Not all our meals were fish and chips but we tried some well known places and A Fish Called Coogee came out on top. We especially like to dine with wine and being a BYO brought...More

Loved this place when I was younger. We’d go and grab fish and chips after uni.. went back recently and the quality is great but it must have doubled in price!!

Found this place by accident. Picked up best “fish & not chips” takeaway ever - grilled barramundi, garlic prawns, scallops and bok choy. Choose your fish and watch it cooked to order. Highly recommended.

Visited with my kids as were craving fish&chips and decided to try it. They have a beautiful display full of fishy temptations, although we just had a very boring and classic fish and chips. 1 fish fillet and a small bowl of chips, I think...More

We hiked from Bondi to Coogee on a nice winter day and stopped in for a late lunch. All the fresh options are in the case for you to drool over. They had marinated fish, veggies, and fresh caught fish options. We had a tough...More

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity
