For two years this has been my "go to" fish and chipper. We've always ordered the battered fish, chips and potato scallops and they have always been consistently light, crispy and delicious until recently .... the batter on the fish and scallops was heavy, dense and chewy. Not nice at all. I haven't been back since.

Awesome little byo café / restaurant serving amazing selection of fresh fish. Consistently good for 8 years I have been visiting. A must for fish lovers. Lime and chilli John Dory and Asian greens a fav

A fish called Coogee has a counter full of raw fish; you then choose how it is cooked and have a choice of sides and sauces. Although a bit pricey this can be a nice change from the usual deep fried fish, I like having the extra choice and thought they cooked my fish very well.

Been here a few times now, the fish and the marinades are incredible. Tried pretty much everything but highly recommend the tuna steaks, prawns and scallops. Quite expensive for what it is, but hey I regularly buy my seafood from the fish market so probably not fair to compare.

This place is dreadful the food is not fresh I actually felt sick once I had a few bites of the fish. It's so overpriced a school canteen serves nicer food. The owner is rude and arrogant and the service was shocking. Would defiantly never visit this place again!

The best value fish and chips I have had for some time. Great value, good service, very tasty and only a about a two minute walk from the beach. What's not to like!

Had high hopes for this place after doing the Bondi - Coogee coastal path. Mess all over tables, with local wildlife enjoying the remnants of leftover dishes. Slow service as well, and the chips not proper 'fish & chips' - clearly from a bag and not hand cut from a potato. The fish was OK, outside of the batter, but... More

Good food and service. Calamari was delicious, better than the fish'n'chips on coogee beach. Scallops were undercooked and bland but overall food was good. Lots of fresh options such as Tuna, salmon, oysters and prawns which is a bonus!

I stopped here with my girlfriend and friends, we ordered prawns, calamari, oyster...all good, however the fish and chips was incredible, the best place for fish and chips in Coogee beach

My husband and I enjoyed the fish & chips. The batter was nice and light and crispy. As a Canadian, I was admittedly very apprehensive when I saw the skin was still on the deep fried fillet, but there was no "fishy" taste at all. As someone who doesn't like tarter sauce, I also really appreciated the sauce options available.... More
