After trying to decide where to go in lorne for dinner we stumbled across this place and we were not disappointed. The chips are fat chips with herbs and the burgers were huge and they were delicious. Would definitely be back 👍

Visited while in Lorne on a summer Sunday. This is a busy little place doing decent burgers. The fat chips are lovely and seasoned with herbs. Would definitely recommend the salted caramel milkshake. Burgers are quite big and could potentially be shared with a side of chips if you aren't all that hungry. If you go in summer you may... More

Nice retro feel fit out. Simple but good. The coffee is ace here. Rich and creamy. Hats off to the barrista. Staff are good here too. Young and affable. Steady traffic coming through this establishment which I haven't observed at the other places in Lorne. It has a buzz. I'll eat here next time.

Stopped and had the usual double piccolo which was great. Why waste time on a possibly poor coffee. The food also looked really good but this was a coffee stop only. Well worth a try.

Good place to go for lunch, opposite the beach. lots of different burgers (including many vegetarian options). Fries, milkshakes, cookies and various soft drinks. But be warned if you don't like burgers, you won't find much else here.

The worn out decor probably is testament to the popularly of this eatery since the burgers and chips are excellent. However it really needs some maintenance because it looks a bit grubby, which detracts from an otherwise quirky and delicious dining experience.

We ordered the Hawaiian and fire engine burgers. Both were fantastic and tasted really fresh. The fire engine burger was suppose to have pineapple in it but it didn't when it arrived. The waitress got some pineapple afterwards but half the burger was already eaten. We would come back again.

We have been to Lorne on a number of occasions and as our favourite place (Swing Bridge Cafe) was closed, we thought that we'd give the Bottle of Milk a try for breakfast as it had good reviews. The service was good and the food was nice, but it didn't blow us away. There's no reason in the world not... More

Burgers are good. Beef burgers especially looks really tempting. We order the Chicken. Lovely I have to say. They missed to add the sauce as we paid for it. Other than that it's a decent place. 6/10.
