Met friends for dinner as half way for both of us. It's in the entertainment book so buy one main get one free. Cheap kids meals. Great play area. We were there early so meals were super fast. Dessert took a little longer. Well priced nice food. Husbands were disappointed the bourbon steak was BBQ flavoured and my prawns on... More

Been to this venue several times over the past ten years and my last visit tonight was good. The staff and amenities are good and the menu is small but reasonably varied. I'd recommend it for family dinners for all the above reasons.

Returned to the bistro after the disappointing change of management sometime ago. It appears to have changed again --for the better this time. No sign of the charmless, cheerless un-engaging "yes, luv" grumps behind the bars. Before, you could front up to the bar, put in an order, receive the drinks, pay for them, get the change, without them saying... More

I can remember when eating at the WHC meant a varied menu with basic and different, tasty food. We hadn't been for some time and in the meanwhile, there had obviously been a renovation of the bistro and just as obviously a change of management in the kitchens. The menu is now much smaller, with many of the more interesting... More

Needed a quick meal for two and as we were close to the Wantirna Hill Club late November we decided to give this a try. Easy entry and were welcomed into the restaurant and shown to our table. The menu was a little short of offerings but we found items to suit our taste, but unfortunately even though the food... More

Description
The Wantirna Hill Club has been part of the landscape of Wantirna for many years and is the home of the Vermont Football Club. Situated on central Boronia Rd, close to Eastlink, the Wantirna Hill Club offers locals a variety of entertainment options. It has all of the facilities that you would expect including a bistro, a brand new kids playroom with a huge jumping castle, TAB & Tavern bar, gaming room and special offers that caters to all tastes and budgets. At the Wantirna Hill Club you will enjoy excellent bistro dining and will be looked after by our friendly staff. There are Members nights, Wednesday Bingo with cash prizes, and our very popular themed bistro nights on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. The venue has had a major upgrade of the interior decor which follows on from the extensive work to provide an external open air deck, enlarged lounge facilities, a protected outside smokers lounge, a bistro extension and a brand new kids playroom with jumping castle. We have an energetic and friendly staff, who are keen to show you around the new look bistro and bar. We would love to make your next lunch or dinner out a pleasure and when dining with us, feel free to ask our friendly staff about hosting your next function and your kids party at the club.
