Great food and a candlelit bar. Fabulous hot chocolate and friendly staff. Even when busy at the peak of lunchtime the service is spot on. A real treat.

Excellent place for the apes ski to begin - only about 200 metres above the town. We had a couple of sessions there last week and really loved the atmosphere - good Jagerbombs, too.

Tried to book dinner here but they only open Tuesday's and Thursday's , I think, and there is a two month waiting list, so book when you book your holiday! Stopped for morning coffee or last run beer almost every day. Lovely atmosphere and impressive wine cellar.

Stopped into Rud-Alpe for a quick lunch while skiing in Lech. The service was very friendly and efficient, no long waiting to take and deliver the order. The lunch menu has good variety. We shared beef stroganoff and noodles which was very good and not too filling for an afternoon of skiing. If you have a larger party make sure... More

Rud-Alpe offered some gourmet dishes alongside more standard mountain fare. In fact the restaurant boasts 14 Gault & Millau points, though the points apply only to their dinner menu. I can only say that some dinner itsems found their way to the lunch menu, as well

One of my favourite places after a hard morning skiing. The menu offers a variety of typical Austrian food. The quality of their mains and desserts is brilliant and the service is fast, efficient and friendly. Sitting to have lunch on their terrace on a sunny day is such a pleasure. The interior of the restaurant is cosy and atmospheric.... More

We went to Rud-Alpe after a tiring morning of skying. We had groestl, a tipycal tirolese dish with potatoes and egg, a frittata sup and as a dessert a keisesmarren another typical dish made with eggs accompanied from a plums jam.

Went for lunch with family. Kids loved the Bernese sausage wrapped in bacon. Adults had soups. Both very nice. Reasonably priced. The service was amazingly fast! Nice interior.

After a 12.5 mile day of hiking, the last thing we really wanted to do was to hike another mile UP HILL to this place. But we had reservations, and had heard good things. So we hiked up for our 7 pm dinner reservation. We over ordered, because our English and their German didn't match up very well, but what... More
