Where to start? Ok the view, I was lucky enough to have a table in the courtyard, with views over Neustadt and in the background of the vineyards in the hills close by. I chose my meal round the iberico pork and chanterelle main, my amazing waiter Pierre (who I was later to learn was one of the owners) suggested... More

Been here with an old friend and we had starter and main. The service is fantastic , thank you to Pierre! Great wine knowledge and wine card.... The food was out of this world. Done with love and great knowledge , different to the rest of restaurants in the area. Nice ambience rounding the evening up. Well done!

Visited 3 times since it opened last May, every time has been good and consistent. The Chef I believe is the owner and so has a vested interest in the quality. The menu is small but everything is prepared in house to a high standard. The building is old and next to the railway line but the trains pass in... More

The restaurant is a short walk up from the train station - we went there with 2 other couples on another person's recommendation. The owners provide a very good service and none of our wishes and asks was a problem. I had the roasted goos with Knödel and red cabbage which was good but nothing special to be honest. Some... Charming interior, but on a sunny, mild Saturday in October, we ate out on the terrace. Nice views to match the very good food. Excellent service and wine recommendations, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very good QPR!

Quite frankly, I was truly impressed by this restaurant. The interior is very welcoming and styled in a remarkably tasteful way. The food is special and extraordinary, and at the same time not overpriced or inauthentic. Particularly recommendable are the "Kleinigkeiten", a Palatinate interpretation of the idea of tapas or mezze. Mildly offputting was the slightly unprofessional service (and the... More
