On a canal trip in late November stopped here for dinner and a few beers. Busy on a Wednesday night. Food ok but nothing special.

Stopped off whilst passing on the canal for brunch. We were four plus a dog; being the end of October and a bit before lunch time proper they were not busy. Slightly incongruous pub, difficult to categorise. Lovely building, fantastic location. Inside is more old-school...More

Good quality, good value pub lunch. Friendly service but staff need to be more aware of what's going on. Nice environment, Large tidy car parking. Lovely hot water in toilets, which, although recently cleaned, had a lingering smell. l

Spur of the moment celebration for my husband's promotion. We both had burgers which were very tasty and well presented but unfortunately a few chips were hard and under cooked. Overall the staff were friendly and professional. We will certainly go again.

Excellent value meals served on hot plates! We ate outside as we had the dog with us. Despite being cooler than of late the meals were piping hot and served on hot plates which meant they stayed nice and warm to the end. Really tasty...More

We popped in here whilst on a canal holiday, and have to say we weren’t disappointed. The food was spot on for the prices, and went down well with us all. As someone who likes their food, the portion sizes were pretty much spot on,...More

The Broughton Arms is situated in a beautiful location, take a seat outside and enjoy the tranquil view of the Trent and Mersey Canal, popular with boaters and walkers. We're a traditional family friendly pub at heart, offering a great menu containing all your favourite pub grub. You can't beat a good fish and chips, our Hand-Battered Cod & Chips is battered using our ale of the day. If you don't fancy fish we've got plenty more classics to choose from. Come down and relax by the canal on a nice sunny day whilst enjoying a pint of cask ale, a glass of wine or one of our soft drinks. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
