About
The Osborne is a beautiful old building which we have upgraded to a fantastic Bar/Restaurant and eventually B&B. A great view of the Clyde and its traffic can be seen from our conservatory dining room and we have a fully stocked bar with great Ales, Lagers, Ciders etc. A wide selection of Malts, Gins & other spirits can also be enjoyed. Reservations for dining is advised as this guarantees your table. We hope to see you soon. Pete.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best Cullen Skink soup I’ve had in ages! My son’s Chicken Bhuna curry was devoured in about ten minutes! Great service from Pete and staff.

Through from the less rainy east coast with my partner to meet up with her dad and sister. The food is superb. I had the best roast beef dish. Plenty beef. God-tier good. Finished, I was actually wondering what else I could have had. Usually...you don't do that after eating. Apparently, their curries are superb. Great host. Rainy. Making excuses to come back with my girlfriend.More

This is an amazing spot alongside the river Clyde! I stayed here with my partner and the room gives you the most amazing view! With breakfast included you can also enjoy this view every morning! The hosts Pete and Elliot are also so friendly and...attentive, even giving us a pair of walking shoes to enjoy a walk round pucks rest! We also dined here for a Sunday lunch which was also fantastic! Great food and such a pleasant stay! I don’t usually take the time to write a review but I felt the need to! 10/10 stay very pleased!More

I visited The Osborne for lunch coming on the bus from Dunoon (the bus stops in both directions are very close.) I had the haggis fritters to start, the fritters were tasty but I found the dip had to much mayonnaise, followed by the steak...pie and mash not something I’d order in England, but I’m in Scotland a nation known for quality steak pie, I wasn’t disappointed.More

The Osborne Inn is a charming inn with a beautiful view of the River Clyde. It's esthetically pleasing architecture welcomes you immediately and draws you into its warmth. The rooms are quite cozy and roomy with bathrooms en suite. The beds and pillows are incredibly...comfortable. The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant are relaxed and jovial. The food is delicious and breakfast is made to order, with hearty portions. The extraordinary staff and local patrons were most invaluable resources to us, and couldn't've been more gracious. I absolutely recommend The Osborne Inn and I will definitely be back.More

Passing by and popped in. A very friendly welcome from the staff. Good choice of lightbites eg paninis and larger meals like burgers and fish and chips. Vegetarians catered for. We ordered 3 different dishes and they all arrived at the same time, piping hot...and delicious. Sadly, no room for dessert! Amazing views out of the large windows. A very pleasant lunch - thank you.More

I've been intending to visit The Osborne for some time and fnally made it down for lunch. I was not disappointed!! The venue has a reputation for its hot chicken wings and I opted for this as a starter...very very moorish and I'll be having...these again soon ...as a main course! The steak with blue cheese salad was similarly impressive washed down with a pint of Birra Moretti. Friendly and welcoming service was also notable. Needless to say I'll be back...and soon!!More

We enjoyed a lovely meal here during our holiday in Innellan. Absolutely delicious burger (me) and scampi (my wife) - excellent chips! Sadly we were both too full for a pudding. We look forward to a return visit on our next stay.

Whilst exploring the local area we passed these premises and decided to pop in to have a refreshment on this rare hot day part of the draw to coming here was to get a window seat to view the panoramic view of the clyde which...we did, we found the staff to be pleasant attentive and helpful, the toilets were clean, and we both would have no hesitation in recommending.More

We booked two rooms for an overnighter in January, and we could not have been made to feel more welcome! The rooms were smart and comfortable, the food was excellent and the bar was well stocked with malt whiskies and interesting beers. We will definitely...be back, and I highly recommend a visit if you are in this part of Scotland.More

Fantastic food and plenty of it! Gluten free options were available and as party of 8 adults and teens everyone was catered for. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were between £13-£18 for main courses (huge portions!), massive steaks for £25. I had the Cullen...skink and lightly battered haggis bites which were delicious. We all said we would go back if in the area again.More
