My friend and I had heard good things about the cafe here and they were right! Fabulous premises, breathtaking views, friendly staff and delicious food. Plus a spot of quality food shopping on the way back to the car park. Will definitely be going back for more lunches and shopping!

We were on a search for Yorkshire chorizo which we found! and alongside it we found al lovely lunch spot/tea room. Soup and homemade breads was perfect before our long walk. Then after the walk back for tea and coffee and toasted tea cakes with wonderful jam. We left with chorizo and various other cold meats, some cheese and yummy... More

we stopped here whilst on a bike ride for a quick lunch. We had been before for breakfast, albeit not tasting the cakes they looked deliciously enticing. Lunch was delicious and piping hot, just what was needed after a rainy trip.

We visited the farm shop and tearoom after hearing good things about it. We were not disappointed. Their was a good vibe even on a dreary winters day. The cakes were lovely. The lovely aspect to this places is that being a farm shop most things are locally sourced and home baked. We went through to the farm shop and... More

We were on our way home from walking in the Dales when we stopped for lunch, which was very good. The farm shop is also excellent.

A great place to stop for a bite to eat. Good service and tasty food. I enjoyed the lamb casserole in a giant Yorkshire pudding. The shop has a great range of meats, cheeses and other local produce.

We are fortunate to live nearby and use Chris & Jen's place as a regular destination for a short walk. Our family, friends & guests are never disappointed with the quality, selection or service. The gift shop has lots of quirky items of local interest, Chris' knowledge of the wide range of food he has on offer is second to... More

I attended an Italian pork butchery and salumi course and it was fantastic! Lovely bacon sandwiches in the cafe to start then a trip up the road to the farm. After a tour we spent the morning learning the intricacies of pork butchery. There was a delicious cottage pie for lunch back at the farm shop and then it was... More
