We are never disappointed when we come here.. great food, funky atmosphere. Strongly suggested, not sure is the greatest place for kids but they are welcome.

I visited Cafe du Raisin during my visit to Switzerland. It's a very cozy place located in Begnins, a very charming village, 30 minutes away from Geneva. The restaurant is very classy. The owner extremely nice and she makes sure to visit the tables to check if everything is ok. The food is delicious. They have plat du jour for... More
Based on a list of "best game restaurants in Suisse Romande", we visited the Café du Raisin. We were not disappointed. There was a buzz in this restaurant due to it being full. It was lovely to be in a restaurant in a village a bit off the beaten track. The menu is presented on a blackboard with a few... More
We hadn't been to this restaurant for some time, this was our second visit and we weren't at all disappointed. The place is divided in two halves, there's the cafe area & restaurant area, which is smaller but really cozy on a cold autumn evening. The welcome & service we received was very efficient & friendly. The menu was quite... More
We have been going here for the past 20 years and always loved it, so much that we celebrated our wedding here. Our last visit was a bit dissapointing, service was slow, the filet de perches were quite dry, the waitress forgot the sauce tartar and we had to ask a few times for it, portion sizes are clearly smaller... It has been ages since we had seen each other and since the other party lives in the region we decided to eat locally. We had a beautiful day and ate on the terrace but fully covered from the sun. Service was very cordial; meal was great. We both had filets des perches which if I remember correctly were from... More
Their speciality seems to be fish which they serve in many different manners: from the "filets de perches", to a wok of "crevettes et St Jacques". We did not take the entrees, but the main dish was more than enough. for those who do not wish to have fish, an excellent filet de boeuf, or a tartare de boeuf could... More
We had lunch with my daughter at te Café du Raisin yesterday. They have a Menu with starter main course and Desert for Fr. 22.- We had a cold melon soup which was a ltlle too spicy for my taste as a Main course I had grilled Swordfish with tomato sauce and vegetable, very good and strawberries with Mascarpone for... Went twice to this charming restaurant. All the dishes we tried from starter to desserts were outstanding . Owner and staff very friendly and professional. Can highly recommend this place to anyone. We only stayed in the area for a week otherwise we would have been back more often. Thanks cafe du raisin for two unforgettable evenings.
This was a first visit to the Café du Raisin, and it will certainly not be the last. We chose the very reasonably priced menu du jour, starting with gazpacho or chicken liver mousse, followed by either pork chop or venison, served with a very acceptable gratin dauphinoise and green beans. For dessert we were offered panna cotta with red... More
