This restaurant is a very good option after visiting the Plzen Brewery (5 min by walk) and the Brewery Museum that is in the same building. Here you can try excellent beer and local food in a traditional atmosphere. I suggest to order the gulash served into bread and any of the meat specials. Maybe you'll have to wait a... More

Next to the brewery museum,a large place we sat on the small back terrace and enjoyed the food and the unfiltered beer, the girl that served us was not friendly but the food and beer made up for it.

The Na Parkánu tap-room is named after its position by the town walls - parkány. It is designed in the spirit of the golden age of the Plzeň hostelry trade – the 1920s. The tap-room is directly linked with the Brewery Museum – so the beer pumped in the tap-room is also an exhibit in its own way. Excelent kitchen... More

Don't expect fluent English and many tourists in this Restaurant. We've been probably almost the only foreigners on a Saturday evening. Reservation is needed. The food was exactly what expected. Big portions, good taste, fair price. Of course you also get different kinds of beers. The staff is not super charming but decent and polite.

If you want to try some czech food and drink a beer than you need to go here and try "nefiltrowany" which is the best beer ever tried - you can take it with you in a 1,5L bottle. Every evening its full occupied and its very loudly. Personel is very proffesional and food very teasty.

Interesting Muzeum. Something to do when you are in Plzen. Got a voucher for free beer:))))) we spent around an hour in the Museum. ..then went to the restaurant right attached for lunch. Food was excellent. ..but service: not very friendly, maybe annoyed and not smiling. What a pity.

Good service, friendly staff and a nice place with good atmosphere. I had the pickled sausage and pork ribs with a very good sauerkraut. My wife had roasted(?) pork in dark beer and potato dumplings. the dumplings were not to our taste but the big portions will still fill you up.

A couple of friends went here for a nice friday supper - and it sure was!! I had the porks knee, and it was just lovely. Be careful though, come here hungry as each portion is big enough to feed a family😉 The staff was very friendly and willing to assist in your selection. I'd love to come here again!

Good atmosphere, inside and out. Good range of food and selection of beers, with staff who speaks at least some English.
