Anybody who's lived in Prague for a long enough time has learned that there are limited options when it comes to good places to take in a football or rugby match. You can visit overcrowded Riegrovy Sady with it's swollen beer queues, an overpriced Old...More

Worst meal and worst dining experience I’ve had in 4 years of visiting Prague. Food was nothing special (Fatty cut if meat, a few chips and a tasteless salad) and quite greasy, service was poor (they did not have the excuse of being busy), and...More

Visited two days ago for an early meal. Great food, great service, and you can’t beat they prices. Pulled pork sandwich hit the spot and the chips were to die for.

Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this
neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed
very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century.
Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live,
and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing
parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars,
cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy
shops, it is a home for people from all around the

It's just over 2km, according to Google Maps, it's a 30 min walk, 15 mins by metro from Staromestka getting off at Namesti Miru, or 20 mins by car (based on traffic right now).
