Great traditional Czech food and beautiful traditional pub and just off Old Square down one of the side streets. Much better than your typical tourist restaurant! Reasonably priced too!

Went eat twice, dinner at 1st night in Prague and lunch at last day there. Pork knee and the duck leg is very good and tasty. They have 2 places that are both close to old town square. Services a bit disappointed and at our 1st dinner, even with reservation- they did not seat us in good location. But, the... More

I loved this place. It was so good, I went back the next night! The original restaurant is a bit hard to find (it is down an Alley, near the square) and it is really small, so make sure you make a reservation. They have a Sister restaurant with the same food, so you can go to that one if... More

Despite being located in the very touristy part of the city center, this restaurant offers really good food. We ordered two types of duck, and both dishes were great. Even the lemon served with my fresh mint tea was better than elsewhere. :)

We wouldn't have found this place if not our friends who are really into looking for good pub. All good places even in January are very fully booked. It was very pleasant evening with great food and beer. They have two locations. Both seem very busy and popular. We first went to another location where we were told "full" already,... More

We went for dinner there. The place is normal, nothing special. The food is also ok but also nothing special. Try some local food and some beer. The service is ok.

In order to come to this place you really should know how to get there, because it's settled on such a small side street that you can easily bypass it and this would be a shame. Simply the best place we've ate in Prague. We enjoyed every part of the meal and it was amazing.

We needed here in a very cold afternoon looking for typical and warm Czech food. Very good goulash, served inside a bowl of local bread. As a starter, we tried the beer cheese and cabbage pancakes. Everything was yummy. And good beer!

We had luckily reserved a table in before-hand, otherwise it would have been impossible to have dinner that very night in Mlejnice. Even if the place is mostly visited by tourists, the food served provides a nice local experience. Very pleasant atmosphere and kind service. Definitely worth a visit.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
