What a nice place to eat! We stopped for lunch! Lots of choices, but we opted for the schnitzel. But the dessert cart! Yum! This building is a must see.

Living in Harrogate in England we are lucky to have one of the most marvellous, tea shop imaginable. BUT This is exceptional. The arcitecture transports one back a hundred years and one can easily imagine bring served tea and cafe in the early 20th Century. The cakes, whilSt not exceptional are good. Behaviour is also good with few people using... More

Eating in this café is worth it just to experience the Art Deco architecture, both inside the café and the lobby . Every view is stunning . I haven't been in a restaurant with its own fountain before . The food is excellent and the trolley containing the wonderful gateaux and pastries is very tempting. I was transported back to... More

The Staff was extremely friendly and professional. If you like good service with smile on their face then go here. The building itself is one rare gem in the world of pure Art Nouveau. The hallway has Mucha's work. Cakes were great. My man hardly ever has eaten a whole piece of chocolate cake. I had the tasty cheese cake.... More

We couldn't find a table at around 8 pm but it was available at 10 pm. I tried the cheese sandwich and veggie omelette. I liked the food and the spot.

We visited for a late lunch, mainly to see the interior: a fabulous art deco cafe full of light, it was an absolute pleasure just to sit and look at it. There are certainly cheaper cafes in Prague but probably none more beautiful. We had the Bohemian omelette (onion, potato and bacon) followed by cake. The cake trolley is simply... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
