Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a fab meal after a long day visiting the castle district. Good service & enjoyed the meal. Only one issue, the chef downstairs preparing the pizza's clearly had a bad cold & kept blowing his nose & picking spots on his arms!! Glad I...didn't choose the pizza & good luck to those who did or had take away, because he didn't wash his hands!!! 🤧🤮More

Very cute place with nice food - larger seating area downstairs if upstairs is crowded. Had a pizza and carbonara and both were quite delicious. Food didn't take too long to come out either. Attentive wait staff. I would recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I have been traveling around Europe for the last few months. As a dumb American, I have no knowledge of other languages and after awhile, there is fatigue related to always trying to decipher what we might eat. From the moment we...stopped at Ristorante Carmelita Pizzeria, Honza spoke to us in English. He’d spent some time in New Jersey visiting a cousin years ago and his English was really good! It was such a relief to not have to work so hard to order a meal. He helped us navigate the menu, suggested some wine pairings, and helped us order our favorite pizza (Hawaiian). To whomever hired Honza - THANK YOU!!More

Opted to go to Carmelita on a Sunday evening - roads and restaurant were empty. Had a mix of pizza and pasta, beers and wine. Good food, nice place.

Good restaurant. Well located at 200 meters from the tram station and close to the old city center. The terrace is fine. The good is good but I would say that the portions are normal. So be careful if you are extremely hungry 😀. Staff...ok.More

Nice little bar just by tram stop by funicular up to tower and observatory. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Food very good and prices very reasonable, beer 58kr for 0.5 l. We were there for about an hour sheltering from a massive thunderstorm!
