We stayed at golden key hotel which is 100 yards away. The receptionist recommended a restaurant called three violins which is the other name for this place. We were sceptical about somewhere so close to the hotel thinking it could simply be a friend of the receptionist. Based on the ambience, the cosyness, service and above all the quality of... More

Delicious food but too expensive. Nice and friendly waiters. Good beer. Nice atmosphere. Close to the center.

Nice atmosphere and ok food. The waiters at attendive and polite. A warm atmosphere surrounds you. The food is ok. Som starters are very tasty and some quite simple with no taste. Main courses are ok but without spices. Prices are a bit high.

Having had this restaurant recommended by our hotel reception we managed to squeeze a table on a busy valentine day evening. The service was excellent, a table was set as we waited and ordered our drinks. The food was amazing, the young duck pâté and goose livers starters were very tasty and well presented. Next the main... fillet in pepper... More

I went in to get the lunch menu and they just told me it wasn't available that day. I was already in the table so I just ordered from the regular menu, it was a little expensive but I thought it would be the best meal ever. I was totally wrong. The goulash wasn't good and the bread was hard... More

This restaurant is a beautiful place near Malostranske namesti. My dish was wonderfully presented and the taste was fantastic. They have a great choice of Moravian wines, but I was pleased for very good PILSEN beer. You have to visit this place! :)

Came here following recommendation from our hotel receptionist who booked a table for us. I would recommend you book as it's a small restaurant & seemed very busy. Good menu with a nice choice. Food was nicely presented & tasty. Would return.

My friend is vegan and she brought her own food to eat. We asked for permission to do that and we were told it is OK to do so. Then after we ordered we were told sheet can't eat her own food. She did order something when we arrived because she thought it would be rude not to so she... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
