After loving one of there other restaurants thought we would try mlynec. Very nice dining room with views of the Charles bridge. Value was excellent on the tasting menu so decided to opt for that rather than 3 courses I went for the favourites tasting menu that included the most popular dishes in the restaurant and my partner went for... This was our first visit to Prague and, for our last night, the hotel suggested Mlynec. It was by far the best meal we had on our trip. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, the service was excellent, and the setting - both the dining room, and the view next to the Charles Bridge - memorable. If you want... More

Great place to eat Czech specialties in a modern style. Great service for tourists too, everything explained in English and they pay a lot of attention to every guest in the restaurant.

My favorit in Prague for the last 20 years. The menues are fantastic. Service is personal and outstanding. Try to get a table at the window with a lovely view to Charles Bridge. Due to Christmas Parties it was a bit noisy (for the people who need a negative aspect also)

This was the 3rd time for dinner at Mlýnec. Had the 5 course Czech menu with belonging wines. Delicious tastes and excellent dishes throughout, accompanied by excellent Czech wines.

We visited as a couple, arriving at 1pm and were given a table close to the window with a fantastic view. The food was beautifully prepared and presented with good quantities of everything on the menu. Despite the "brunch" title, this was more of a fine dining experience than we had expected. The staff were also very friendly and attentive... More

Saw the restaurant from the bridge and was attracted by the view but got a bonus as the food was delicious (had deer and my son the chicken with mushrooms) we also tested local wines which were a great surprise. The sommelier was perfect in advising wine and food and we hardly could leave the place. Try the cheese also... More

This restaurant was recommend to me by a friend, she said we should book the Saturday or Sunday brunch menu…what a fabulous recommendation. The restaurant sits just off the Charles bridge, we were lucky enough to get a window seat so could see all the comings and goings. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, there was a piano player for... More

Mlynec is set right on the river at the Charles bridge with views out over the water. We had an extremely good meal, choosing the 5 course tasting menu with wine flight. The food was beautifully and artistically presented with inventive flavour combinations. Service was friendly and professional - better than many Michelin one star establishments we have frequented. The... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
