The food was quite good. We stopped for lunch after a few hours or sight seeing and we were looking for a great place to rest and try some local fare in the heart of Wenceslaus square. My 2 teenage daughters, my sister and I ordered the goulash, the veal schnitzel, prosciutto sandwich and the como breakfast. The food was... More

We walked past this restaurant a few times and we finally decided to go in. The restaurant had a good atmosphere with nice decorations. The food was excellent (a bit expensive but the food was worth it). We had beef goulash and duck breast and they were both amazing. The place wasn't very busy for being a Sunday and the... More

We stopped here for lunch one afternoon and had a very pleasant experience. For lunch the food was very reasonable price for the nicer scale of the restaurant. The menu was easy to read and understand and the selection was vast. The wait staff were friendly and nice. The service was quick and the meal was very tasty and hit... More

Excellent service from the moment you arrive, very reasonable given its location. Enjoyed lunch on terrace and dinner in restaurant and food was just superb on each occasion. Really cannot fault anything at all, highly recommended

We walked in without a reservation but then again it was Feb. Seated at a window overlooking the street. Nice watching people out and about on a cold winter's eve. My wife selected the Wild Mushroom risotto, which she reported as delicious. I had the Wiener Schnitzel with light Bohemian potato salad (which was served cold). The Schnitzel and potato... More

Wandered in here after a long day of sightseeing, Martin the bartender could not have been made our experience at the bar any nicer and considering my boyfriend is a bartender himself we are incredibly specific when in comes to cocktails and Martin blew us away. We later returned for dinner after being told by the staff how amazing the... More

My 1st experience in Prague, very creative menu with decent prices and very friendly service. You can choose to sit on the terrace or inside. There is a bar section also with very elegant interior. Big selection of food on the menu to satisfy everyone's taste. Highly recommended

This is a lovely restaurant. Look at the menu outside and get a glass of free hot wine. Inside all staff are very friendly and helpful and food is delicious and affordable. Try the broth served in a bread roll, chicken with vegetables and mash - absolutely delicious. Only slight disappointment was I had to wait a long time for... More

Made a reservation first thing in the morning for our last night meal, good location and the staff are very friendly and extremely professional. Very nice atmosphere and good range of menu. Slightly more expensive than the other restaurants we used but good value for money. One to recomend

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
