The hotel is tucked away less than 100mts from the town square making for easy access to the square. There was three of us so booked the triple room which had plenty of room for all. There was a large entry with cupboards and a separate large bathroom. The room overlooked a quiet street. The breakfast was great with hot food, cold selection, cereals and plenty of tea and coffee. Had a meal in the restaurant one evening and we all enjoyed our selections. There are plenty of other food ideas withim easy walking distance and the subway is about 500mts easy walk. Handy to numerous attractions and shopping. Found the staff very helpful and polite in all areas of the hotel.

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Buffet style breakfast consisting of choice of cereal, meats, cheeses, cakes etc; Also had bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and a choice of breads. I’m veggie and I think my vegan kids (adults), would have had only fruit for breakfast, so not great if you’re vegan. They did get soya milk for me ( dairy intolerant), but not sure how they would accommodate a vegan from what I saw. Only fruit on display. Excellent position right next to the Old Town Square. Didn’t have lunch or dinner there as no appealing veggie options so can’t comment on that. Will definitely stay again on next visit to Prague.

We popped into this restaurant as it was close to the concert hall and seemed very traditional. We were warmly greeted and seated. The restaurant was fairly busy with tourists wanting Czech food, and the decor was very 'authentic' and cute. I ordered the Beef Goulash, whilst my partner ordered the Pork Knuckle. Both looked amazing. Neither quite lived up to their appearance, though. After a few initial mouthfuls, they were quite dull. The beef was chewy, though the sauce and dumplings were fine. The pork was simply served with bread and pickles, so got boring quite quickly. We swopped. Against my better judgement, we ordered dessert. There was a choice of three, so they had to be ok. We both opted for Apple Strudel. The strudel was 'over presented' - flanked on either side by vanilla ice cream and overly sweet whippy cream. This was all drizzled over with chocolate sauce and a liberal dousing of icing sugar. I scraped all this off to eat the Strudel, which was served cold and pretty much without apple. Service, ambiance, drinks were all very good - it's a pity the food wasn't. Total was £48 - 2 mains, 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 desserts and water.

The restaurant was quiet but we thought it looked fine. However my duck was tough and over cooked. My husband’s deer was served in a thick sauce, completely ruining the meat. The waiter acted surprised but a fellow diner also complained about his duck dish. So disappointed.

Good location however, we were promised a table in the main restaurant within 10 minutes. We ordered our food and drink and when asked about moving into the main restaurant, this was no longer the case. We ended up eating at a tiny table in the entrance of the restaurant. One of the dishes that arrived, the deer, was bland and tasted of nothing. When informing the staff, she simply laughed. 2 stars as the other two dishes were ok and the initial staff member who greeted us was very friendly, even if he had gone back on his word.

The restaurant was traditional and cosy. Two of us had the Old Prague Pan (Duck, Smoked Meat, Pork Chop, and Sausage),Various Dumplings and Stewed Red and White Cabbage which was tasty and very enjoyable and Two had Roast Lamb Hind Shank in Red Wine, and they both said it was very good. The waiter was friendly, helpful and very professional . Prices were reasonable .

This is a great place if you want to try cezch food just off the main tourist square. A traditional dining room which would be perfect for a cosy winter evening. It was quiet as the sun was out and most wanted to eat in outside venues. Our server was great and the food was well presented. The five of us had different mains so we're able to swap and try each others but the duck and pork knee were particularly good. It was very reasonably priced and certainly recommend to anyone who wants to avoid all the pizza / pasta alternatives in the main town.

Absolutely spectacular traditional Czech cuisine! We had pig's knuckle, which was literally melting in the mouth and spectacular desserts - pear marinated in red wine with ice cream on the side and warm apple strudel with ice cream. Service was equally as superb as was the food! This is not a touristy place, this is is tradition at its best! Highly recommend!

Friendly waiter with nice atmosphere. Food was not so great. Goulash was made of very poor quality beef…most was inedible due to lots of fat and grizzle. Potato pancakes were overwhelmed by lots of spices and very greasy.

Restaurant inside the hotel located a few steps from the old town square. Elegant environment in an ancient medieval structure. The pork shank and the famous “svíčková na smetaně”, a typical Prague sirloin, are excellent. Quick and impeccable service, friendly waiters, I don't give the maximum stars due to the small quantity of typical dishes available. The almost obligatory invitation to tip is a little out of place, in my opinion it should always be a spontaneous gesture coming from the customer.

This hotel was perfectly located and so enjoyed by my wife and I. Picturesque rooms with an intimate dining area and small bar that was perfect for a stein of Beer before we took off on another adventure. The people there were pleasant and helpful and we can’t wait to go back. What an awesome introduction to this part of Europe for the two of us.

While enjoying Old Town in an alley by the Tyne church, this jewel awaits. The food and service is excellent. I suggest the chicken caeser salad and the roast duck.....to die for! The surroundings are nice and you feel apart of history. I recommend highly.

Two dinners in this restaurant ideally located in old Prague. Very beautiful medieval-looking room, very warm and attentive service in French. Very well executed local cuisine for a reasonable price. A good table to note in a heavily touristy environment.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
