Food was nice in average and the place was pretty looking. Quite smelly though, our clothes smelled like burned grease even on the next morning. The traditional cabbage&sausage soup was almost vegetarian, there was hardly any sausage in it. I also got a wrong dessert, and when asking for the correct one, they replied "this is what we got": Finally,... More

Food was OK but way too expensive for what they actually serve. Waiters were very arrogant. The woman who recruited us outside was rude. Not recommended.

We came here having freshly landed in Prague - hungry and cold. The interiors looked welcoming and they had 'vegetarian food' printed on their windows (which was important to one of our friends) so we decided to give it a go. The service was ok (didn't like forcing a tip on us), the food was good (mulled wine was a... More

So me and a fellow traveler decided to try some czech food one evening and unfortynatly we ended up in this place. The menu is quite expensive but we were prepared for that. But while enjoying the food the staff always come up you and asked if we wanted something more. We told them no all the time but they... More

We've been here 2 times and every time was perfect. Cool atmosphere, tasty delicious food, service is on a high level. Prices are very democratic. Good selection of drinks and different food. Approved and highly recommended.

Just landed in Prague, we looked for a traditional place in the very centre where we had the apt. This restaurant is in a great location, appearing very traditional and serving local food. The quality of the food was good, the meat very well cocked and the potato pancakes were freshly fried for us. The service was not excellent but... More

Yes...it's location is very good...the restaurant is cozy and look's very traditional...the food is good...BUT...they charge you more than you eat...AND it is almoust robbery...but with a smile on behalf of the staff. The most expensive meal ever. We we're shocked when we received the bill. Please save your wallets and eat at a fast food. Or at least go... More

It looks nice. The waiters are friendly. IT takes a while but the food ain't bad. Its in the verry centre of Prague. The beer tasted a little 'old'. Not bad for a restaurant at thuis location. But: 1: there was a 120chk amount (only $5 but stil) on the bill for service.... 2: a 0.3 beer was on the... More

Well situated restaurant, nicelt decorated. All the soups were tasty. The stakes were good but not great, the pork knee was OK. The apple strudel was great.

We visited Prague at the end of november-begining of december and after checking in at the hotel we went to the city center. We looked for a restaurant and Mama Lucy seemed very cozy and warm. We decided to go in and, guess what!? From the moment you enter you get the feeling that your only scope is to quickly... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
