We dropped in Cafe Colore when we were in Prague and had some excellente soup and very tasty coffee for a good price. The café is stylished furnished, therefore it had a very nice atmosphere. The bathroom were clean although there were quite a lot of customers. Most of the waiters were nice, some of them could smile a little... More

This place is great if you smoke. The food is all well cooked and interesting and delivered quickly. Drinks are also varied and we have eaten both breakfast and dinner here. The staff are lovely (although implacable about closing time!) and it's comfortable and warm. BUT if you don't smoke, it's really really horrible to sit there surrounded by quite... More

Very spacious, interior has bookshelves and provides a good working place if you need to work on your computer, coffe does not taste the best, but there is a wide choice of other drinks and they serve nice breakfast too. One of the last places in town with a section for smokers, very low prices.

The food is good and cheap. Location is not too far from the City center and a metro station. The place is nicely decorated in an artistic way, but not heavy. This was done with good taste

Came here for breakfast based on mostly favourable Yelp reviews. Enjoyed muesli and very light and fluffy pancakes. Folks should know that they have a smoking "section" in the restaurant. That's still a thing?!?! Unfortunately spoiled the enjoyment of our meal as the toxic fumes wafted over to the misnamed "non smoking" section.

7€ for the house breakfast. It's a bit more expensive than some other places but it does keep you going for a few more hours than usual without any other food! Good location, close to tram lines, and the decoration and beautiful. The staff has limited knowledge on the English language but we got along just fine.

Great service and good food. Lovely ambience. Got my order mixed with the table next to me. Sure it does not happen every day. The waitress was so charming and professional. Prompt and fixed it in no time. Sweet

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
