As a small eater, I was pleased that the menu provided special small portions. However, we found that the foie gras served was too huge a block. The disappointing experience was to be served a fig dessert without the figs!

Considering this is a #1 restaurant, I and my wife were shocked when the nondescript bread was served. Foie gras and smoked trout were an odd combination. So we gave it a try. The foie gras came in a huge block but, as expected, didn't...More

We went here based on other TA reviews and certainly were not disappointed. A three course meal with drinks costs us in total about £55!!!! In the uk the same meal would have been £100 - £200 ! Really good food, beautifully presented, a helpful...More

We went to Amade on a Saturday night; we had made reservations, and our table by the window was waiting. Our server was attentive, but without hovering; he successfully helped with wine selection selection; not an easy task when the family is from Italy, but...More

The food and service were pretty good but better elsewhere. Rather oddly, my fiancee and I were put next to a guy who was on his own and throughout the time that we were there we felt that he was listening in. The restaurant was...More

We initially went to Amade on a Sunday night for dinner - definitely make reservations as we could not get in when we stopped by on Saturday night. Our server, Jacob, was extraordinarily helpful and suggested we try a local Cabernet-style red wine. It was...More

Was there in the aspargus season and the chef has prepared a 3 course dinner all including aspargus. Very delicious especially the ice, close to the best dessert I ever had.

I have not visited every restaurant in Prague, so I cannot say if Amade is the best, but I can say it is a first-rate dining experience at an excellent price. Our server, Lukas, was extremely personable and knew his stuff. Our starters and mains...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is

Amade is in the heart of the old city of Prague in a superbly renovated baroque "Pachta" palace. The restaurant's name suggests a connection to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Amade being his nickname), who used to spent time in this palace during his visits to Prague. The Amade cuisine is as intriguing and unique as Mozart's music.Visit us for an impressive culinary experience, be it a multi course meal or just a coffee and an amazing plum pie. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Charles Bridge in a private setting, whether you come for a VIP business lunch or a candlelit romantic dinner. To complement our a la carte menu, we also offer breakfasts and daily lunch menus for a very modest price.Contact us if you would like to book the restaurant for private parties, catering or gift certificates.
