Located in the monastery grounds which offers a nice historical feel to the place. The restaurant is basic with long tables and benches, but offers an wide ranging menus of traditional Czech food, as well as international offerings. We were a large group and service...More

Beer brewed on the premises, only two varieties dark and light but both excellent, in recent years has become very popular and you need to go early at lunchtime to get a table, the meals are good typical Czech, there is outside seating well sheltered.

There is good beer, but there is too many tourists, and waitress oversubscribed. Try to get your beer through tap, it will faster.

This was our first meal in Prague and it didn't disappoint. Friendly service, good food, and amazing beer. We came with two children and we had no issues. The staff were kid friendly and we had a great time.

Definitely had better beer in Prague but had to try. The best part of the Monastic Brewery was getting there. Walk up Petrin Hill, check out the mirror maze and walk along the top of the hill.

We visited mid of Dec, which was 3rd visit. Service is getting worse and worse while they always ask for 10% tip to only tourists even for lunch. They have to educate rude staff, they have to learn what tip is.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
