Friendly staff, open fire and UK sport on flat screens. Do nice full Irish breakfasts at a reasonable price if you want a change from hotel continental buffets.

One of at least 4 Irish pubs / restaurants in Prague. Enjoyed a good pint of Guinness and (wife) a Baileys coffee. Not allowed to go to the bar but waitress took order and brought drinks to the table.

Now here is a place with a great buzz, very friendly, helpful staff. A nice roaring fire and food todie for - not to mention the drink. We tried the fillet steak and it was so good we had to make a return visit. One of the irish staff was even fluent in Irish. You can always tell a good... More

Yes I know we were in Prague and should have been soaking up the local culture but hey the Irish in us wanted to give it a go. The atmosphere was great, the service excellent and the staff really friendly. We didn't eat, but... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
