The bar was set out well, and the drinks were fine and not too expensive. The staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. They weren't rude in the slightest and their customer service was fine but maybe some more interaction and a warmer reception would have been more pleasing as we felt a little uncomfortable at times with how distant... We tried this bar having never ventured towards this part of town. The staff were really friendly the food looked good (but we did not eat there). There is a noticeboard with a lot of post it's from people whose have visited the bar. All say how good a time they have had. It has got to be tried.

Visited here in feb.the staff where very friendly and food and drink was lovely.my problems start with no irish music played and when myself and my better half went in to get something to eat we felt VERY intimidated by the 40 to 50 english lads screaming god save the queen and sweet chariots and not a care from management... Just returned from a four night stay in Prague and am glad we found this place our first day there. Smiling, happy, friendly staff, excellent service even when its busy (which is quite a lot of the time). Fantastic food and a massive range of drinks. We spent every evening of our stay here and always had a great night.... More

Been coming here for 4years and the service is second to none and staff really friendly. Food is pretty good and the Fillet steak as good as any Prices have went up and the brexit hasn't helped anyone travelling. But be assured we'll worth the visit

We drank and ate here one night whilst staying in the hotel majestic (up the road). Good choice of beers and a decent choice of food on the menu. The food was nice, nothing spectacular but its a pub not a fancy restaurant! We all had a good night anyway, it was freezing outside but the log fire was burning,... More

Always nice to get a bottle of magners when you're on holiday! Really good food, though slightly on the dearer side compared to other places in Prague! Completely worth it though as it tasted like home. Good cocktails, and a nice atmosphere. Waitress' are great, never make sure you've an empty glass .. typical irish behaviour

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
